I have a HP that is 3.1 gigahertz with a terabyte hard drive and 16 gigs of RAM and a DVD drive and a DVD burner and it’s AMD is that good for music recording
Got a Dell dual core workstation for £29 and put in 4gb ram and new drives and hd video card. Has XP and runs Cakewalk sonar without problems recording and playing back wav audio and multiple vst keyboards and plugins.
I can run large Reason 10 projects on a dual core 1.9Ghz laptop with 4gb DDR3 RAM.
Will you recommend these cpu for music product ?

Are these computers good enough to run fl studio and some pretty big plugins with it like omnisphere and nectar and all that shit? Bc my problem now is my laptop will not keep up with all the programs at one time it just crashes bc its using all the cpu trying to keep up w everything.
