Can you give an update on the brave ban? My local gun store told me this week that it’s basically signed, and it’s going through in august. I know it’s not actually signed, but is it really that lopsided that there is no chance that it’ll get struck down?
Jared although of significant value your former career is but one small aspect of a full life. Having the ability to focus on family, community, health and perhaps some volunteer activities is much more fulfilling and important. The job no doubt provided great memories, shared experiences and entertainment value in addition to long hours, bureaucratic headaches, politics and ungrateful “clients”. Although extremely grateful for my career I am not sure I would do it all again. The injuries, missed holidays, shift work all took a toll. Your career served a purpose and gave you a unique perspective. Having been there and done that allows you to pursue other passions. Here is to wishing you a Blessed Retirement, fresh start and new exciting opportunities.
