If you are a single black man Aron’s rental will not rent to you as they think you are a criminal I ordered a tv ps4 combo 2 weeks later I did not receive it. I stopped by the store I was rudely told I have to wait. So I filled a complaint another week goes by I still don’t have my things I call the store manager she says she is giving me a refund because I am hard to contact. she never tried to contact me. I can’t believe I experienced this from another black person and all she kept telling me was that my payment would be due soon she kept bringing up payment I already paid the Black Friday special $7 & then it’s $107 a month I guess she had a problem delivering me those items for that cheap price even though I’m signing a lease agreement and I will be making on time payments every month. this was terrible an absolute terrible experience. I will be going to rent a center Aron’s was just closer to me. I have lots of friends and family who say they heard about the discrimination at Aron’s rental. I will be making some YouTube & Facebook videos on my experience. I will update with links the videos

I just never get how these rental places can stick around, they’re such a rip off. I dont forsee me ever having much reason to do business with such a place. Its no wonder they closed this location.

I always get my furniture at auctions, craigslist or garage sales. I have never once financed a piece of furniture.

Am not surprised to see those"rent to own"places going away.A business model that in the long run WILL fail.Especially with the Crappy Chinese products they have @ these places.🇨🇳👎

you have to wonder why any place closes up,,,maybe bad management , lack of business who knows …thanks for the video

I remember Aaron’s. We had them in Chicago but not many. Rent a Center was our big rent furniture place. Not sure if they are still around.

*Im 99% sure that before it was Aaron’s, it was a restaurant of some kind. I think it was Italian, but can’t think of the name.*

  21. sunbirdturbo on May 9, 2020 at 4:50 pm

It used to be a bar. Was pretty popular. But I believe they had some trouble with fights and I think a shooting finally closed the bar.

there is an repurposed bp near me that is a tps station. bp closed in 2003 and the next year tps opened low key with no branding what so ever. in 20010 they painted the logo’s on the place and blacked out the bp highway sign (the black paint is fading and if you lock hard enough you see the bp logo.

I remember walking in that building as a child and smelling delicious garlic bread. The old Parrason’s Restaurant .

  24. Scott Binkley on May 9, 2020 at 5:00 pm

Hey that used to be an Italian restaurant called Parasson’s, went there often as a kid growing up in the 80’s. I remember they had awesome garlic bread.
