That is nuts I thought Yodobashi Camera would be cheaper with the volume and locations they have all over Japan. I hope you explore more of Akihabara back streets. I found a custom bamboo curtain shop in Akihabara, spent 20 mins watching them cut and bind traditional curtains.

but to seriously get cheaper electronics accessories like memory card, SSD, really should consider taobao from China. You can search for it using English, NO mandarin/Chinese required. Because whatever that memory card, SSD card in Japan, i believe it’s manufactured in China

I was honestly expecting something mind blowing but its quite self explanatory tbh…Akihabara isn’t huge by any means,it is big but if you take the time and realise that there isn’t just one shop to go to,you can most definitely get lower prices elsewhere around the town.
