Great playlist! Been listening all afternoon.
I hear if you fill your speaker cabinets with the darts they increase the sound stage drastically!
Legit good Kermit buddy 😂😂
I’ve got the Monoprice M570 which I know you enjoy too. Is there a place for these in addition to the M570’s?
Is there an Indie Go-Go campaign? I won’t support Kickstarter.
Good video, as usual, Randy. Splitting hairs: wish the wood would match………the Zeus headphones look really good on their website.
Need more Kermit, especially reviewing Metal
Great review and sharp looking headphones, I liked the design of these and the Zeus headphones. Also super cool that they reached out to you proving what a great job doing and the audio influencer you’re becoming. Keep it up!
Gee, thanks YouTube for recommending me this video 6 days after I have already watched it, and backed the cans. Oh well, guess I am supposed to watch it again.
🤣😂🤣😂
Ya want metal? That’s why your favorite is the Verum 1 MK2, not these, nor the Sundara silly rabbit 🙃
Beware of the shipping cost. It’s up to 124$ to Europe, which is fucking ridiculous and puts the final price at the retail level.
Late season Walter White doing Hi-Fi reviews!
How is the overall sound – bright, neutral, warm? Let’s say my HD 560s are too bright for my ears, would you compare them if possible?
Hi Randy! Just brought the Emotiva’s that you recommenced and they are nice. How do these compare to those?
The Kickstarter page says there’s a $46 shipping fee to the US, so $325 to get them to you.
Laughing hard, I gotta say.
I want to hear these. I like the design too, my concerns with the build are the same as yours. The headband and extenders/ hinges really should be metal. Especially for the RRP.
Cheap, Y.S.I.G.
They must sound amazing.
Well, your review intrigued me enough I had to sign up on the kickstarter. Which I suppose was what they hoped for sending them to you.
Harmonicdyne have made the mistake of naming their $350 phones Zeus so now they have to name more expensive ones after lesser gods. I have the Zeus and think they are excellent apart from the overdone and thick upper bass that can often intrude into the midrange. If the Poseidon keeps the midrange clear while still having heavy bass that may be worth the price difference. There were such wide disparities between some reviews of the Zeus, I suspect that consistency of product quality will be something to keep an eye on.
Passion for Sound also reviewed this headphone, and he mentions that the headband is a powder coated stainless steel? So the headband material may need to be confirmed?
Backing kickstarters seems to smack of investing in time shares.
Thanks Randy for the great review and first look at he Harmonicdyne Poseidon. Coming up fast on 50K and your first year anniversary, I love your straight approach to audio and great value and it looks like lots of others do as well.
What a weird sponsor spot
Just don’t get any caramel on Kashmir! Ba-dum-tss…
I’ll see myself out…
Please send the case on to "the lock picking layer" so he can review the security aspect on his YouTube channel 😉
I like what Harmonicdyne is doing with the driver development and sound tuning but I just can’t get into their build with either the Zeus or the Poseidon. The wood cups look great (along with the grille covers) but the side wood panel/inserts look way too tacky and cheap. I’d love to see them take a shot at revising their headband design, sure it’ll be to a price point but I’d rather have solid molded black plastic than wood inserts. Appreciate the video, very informative as always, thanks!
Awesome, I thought you were gonna say they were two grand or something when I saw them, glad to hear they are in the realm of reality. Thanks Randy
Ooooo, Do I spy a Freya S?
JUst got the email about these.
I’d proced with caution with anything from Kickstarter. I’ve been burned multiple times on various products/promises. It seems most of the time…the "company" got in way over their head and ran out of money.. at least that’s what is always claimed. There are no consumer protections if u get screwed. I hope everyone who backs this gets the item and it’s as the same quality as the ones sent out for review.
i almost pledged at kickstarter until i saw a footnote that rewards are not guaranteed. site says used funds are non refundable. 😵😵
oooh… haunting… BOO! 👻 🙀
Do you have any experience with the Zeus? If so how would compare sound stage and imaging between the two? I have the Helios and really enjoy them. You can get them to sound most any way you want with a good EQ so they respond well to adjustment as do my AKG 701’s. A subject most headphone reviewers don’t talk about . A certain reviewer… cough, cough…”Z”…sorry had a frog in my throat 🤣… will tell you all about sub base roll off but says nothing about how that headphone responds to EQ adjustments. I mean if they are that bad that they don’t respond to cranking in some sub base I want to know about it. Keep up the great work, don’t change your style. 👍
Wow you’re RIGHT on the cusp of 50k now buddy, congratulations on growing your channel successfully with great content that’s well-packaged and entertaining and certainly quite helpful. Thank your for for giving of your time and energies to the audio community so selflessly 🙌🏼
Great Review! 👍 Unfortunately plastic bands don’t last very long on my massive cranium…
I’m just here for the foam projectiles. (I’d say bullets but I don’t want you to get banned.)
Christopher Walken… Now Kermit… You’re wasted on audio reviews… (But keep doing them please… Hollywood can wait)
I keep seeing these pop up ads for a company called Austrian Audio. Has anybody listened to these headphones?
What happened to those EASTERN EUROPEAN "affordable’open back headphones. I can’t find the video, but you enjoyed those too at similiar price. Which would you recommend?
I wonder what the Hades will be like

Now I don’t know……….Zeus or Poseidon for "the best Details+Dynamics+PunchyBigBass+Soundstage+Image headphones" for SymphonicMetal and gaming………. I have topping DAC/AMP stack without headphones 😀
He reminds me of Mr. Peabody with those glasses. That’s not a criticism. Mr. Peabody is one helluva time traveler, just sayin’.
I’ll back that there kickstarter if’n them headphones is good to listen to Slim Whitman on. Do yer think them headphones will sound good with Slim’s song Indian Love Call?
I am new to "high-end" audio. I was going to get a pair of Sennheiser 560s to pair with my Hidizs S9 Pro, but you got me thinking about the Poseiden now. How do you think the Poseiden and 560s compare? Love your videos!
