I’m so lucky to find your video while ordering 1000XM3. I cancelled my order right away. Also due to the fact that it doesn’t have any IPX rating

Aaron, I appreciate your hard work!
I wonder how the new LG HBS-FL7 TONE Free True Wireless Earbuds call quality is in comparison to the Apple Air Pods Pro?
I have the Huawei Freebuds 3 and they do an overall better job on calls than my Apple Air Pods Pro in noisy environments. Callers prefer the Freebuds 3 because my voice is slightly louder and clearer with the same amount of background cancellation.
I’m also interested in how callers would sound to me in my ear. Is the quality and volume of the caller loud enough for me to hear them while I’m talking to them in a noisy environment? Maybe this is another aspect that gets consideration in future reviews, if possible. Thanks!

Thank u bro..this is what the video I am looking for & my vote is for senhencier bcz I am the user …I am not used apple air pods pro..but in the video both senhencier & apple airpods pro both performing great…very difficult to choose one

Iam still mad sony are not compatible with windows, its so lagy and dragy somehow my cheaper bt headset do better which is sad. Hope the newest update will fix this issue

  5. Henry Nguyen on July 15, 2020 at 8:04 pm

Thank you very much for a great review on the microphone test. I also like that you made a decision and picked the winner. One question: do the sound quality of the microphone change with active noise cancellation ON or OFF? In specific, does airpod pro microphone sound quality still the best with ANC is OFF? Thank you.

Great review, settled on the airpods after ur recommendation.

  10. Itzik CA on July 15, 2020 at 8:13 pm

I think you are mistaking – the airpods also canceled more background noise.

  11. Emmanuel Olivier on July 15, 2020 at 8:15 pm

Aaron did you experienced latency problems using Sony or Sennheiser with iPhone?

  12. Green Erick on July 15, 2020 at 8:16 pm

Galaxy buds with the software update for call quality is much better now

  13. Kaushik Sharma on July 15, 2020 at 8:16 pm

I find these tests rather misleading. Based on many reviews I bought Sony wf1000xm3 only yesterday. I returned them this morning as the call quality (with and without noise cancelling) on trains or in a car with windows slightly down was so bad that the other end could not hear me. This is with the latest firmware. Why are sound tests reviews not done outside in real world scenarios?

  14. Todd Cragun on July 15, 2020 at 8:17 pm

Which ear buds are best for phone conversations where the person on the other end can’t hear background noise. For ex. road noise. key board typing noises. wind etc.?

  15. John Vincent S. Pangilinan on July 15, 2020 at 8:17 pm

Airpods always has that sexy and clean look that I cant explain.

  16. Wajdi ALN on July 15, 2020 at 8:18 pm

If I give score from 1 to 10
Senn 10 in call Quality 10 in sound quality 8 in Noise cancelling 7 in app 7 in price – Total score 42
Airpord 9 in call quality 9 in sound quality 8 in Noise cancelling 9 in app 8 in price -Total score 43
Sony 8 in call quality 10 in sound quality 10 in Noise cancelling 10 in app. 9 in price – Total score 47
    Sony sure will win

  17. Lahiri Cristofori on July 15, 2020 at 8:18 pm

I have the Sony WF, but I gotta say that the Sennheiser are really really good and I like their voice quality more. Airpods are also very good at this, but I wouldn’t buy them because I prefer the sound quality of the Sony (or Sennheiser, but they cost a little too much, I got the Sony for a great price).

  18. Lazzar on July 15, 2020 at 8:21 pm

Bang & Olufsen E8 3rd Generation coming soon. Will be a interesting review if you get your hands on them.

  19. Derrick Medina on July 15, 2020 at 8:22 pm

The Apple and Sennheiser do have stronger noise cancellation. However, the release and threshold clip a noticeable amount of the spoken word. Just as noticeable as the noise cancellation of the background itself. You actually hear more of the spoken word with less clipping with the Sony but you also hear so much more of the background. If we were able to tune the threshold and release settings ourselves, we could make the best headset based on our preferences. I am still waiting for the technology that will digitize the spoken word then sends it as data to be received and transformed into audible spoken words. That would be worth $200 to me. Right now, there are headsets that are close in performance starting at $25 to $99.

  20. Adrian Morrish on July 15, 2020 at 8:22 pm

So disappointed, new app was waiting on my ithings this morning, went to change the button functions, and, STILL NO COMBINED AMBIENCE AND SOUND OPTION, come on Sony you have the free gestures on both to combine partially! I feel better for that 😁

  21. Zain Amjad on July 15, 2020 at 8:22 pm

Surprised by the Momentum! I’ve only tried Airpods Pro and Sony – bought the Sony’s because I had to decide what is more important to me and music was more important. Calls are definitely better in the Airpods Pro but now Sony’s aren’t far off 😁

  22. Joe Gillian on July 15, 2020 at 8:23 pm

I am surprised by the result…and the MTW still beat the Sony which is only number 3 or 4?

  23. Guillermo Miguel Perez-Santalla on July 15, 2020 at 8:26 pm

I agree with you. IPod sounds the best. Thank you for your test

  24. Brendan Murphy on July 15, 2020 at 8:30 pm

I hate the ear shape of the airpods. They don’t fit right in my ear. I prefer the soft ear pieces of literally any other ear buds

  25. Tom Turner on July 15, 2020 at 8:31 pm

Phone call quality is my first priority. I have already tried the Jabra and the Sony, and sent both back because of the feedback noise for people on the other end. Really can’t talk myself into the totally dork look of the Airpods, even thpugh it does seem to have teh best phone call quality. So i am hoping the new Sennheiser Momentun 2 gives it the edge over the airpods

  26. shethsa on July 15, 2020 at 8:31 pm

The best and most focused call quality comparison video on YT! I’m happy with my jabras but in a quiter office environment. Don’t know between the other 3 which is a better investment from a fit and music quality perspective. Really surprised by the call quality on the sennheisers despite not claiming to be anc buds.

  27. Ben Nicholls on July 15, 2020 at 8:34 pm

Jabra Elite’s call quality is fine in a quiet room. Not very good at all with some noise around you.

  28. Quang tien Nguyen on July 15, 2020 at 8:34 pm

You made really good video there mate. CHEERS <3

  29. Rich Diorio on July 15, 2020 at 8:35 pm

Million dollar question. Which EarPods work best for phone calls?

  30. Kimchheang Chue on July 15, 2020 at 8:38 pm

Hi bro, on PC and android phone, do the Airpods Pro still has the same quality as your review above?

  31. Ben Fenuku on July 15, 2020 at 8:38 pm

Listening on my Sennheiser momentum true wireless.

  32. TheSclare on July 15, 2020 at 8:39 pm

How about the cheaper ones? I hope you compare them too.

  33. saitaro on July 15, 2020 at 8:41 pm

As a Sonys owner I admit they’re not as good as Airpods and Senns, but now it’s just good enough for the most cases.

  34. Salman Ismail on July 15, 2020 at 8:41 pm

I needed these reviews. What about Anker P2?

  35. Dave Quick on July 15, 2020 at 8:42 pm

Music listening is very subjective….not only in type of music you are listening to. For a long time I watched video on quality of earbuds… especially your channel. I like the way you perform your tests. They are extremely fair when making comparisons. After having had many of the earbuds you’ve demonstrated on your channel, I recently purchased a set of AirPods Pro. I was amazed how much better these AirPods sounded compared to many of the videos I’ve watched on YouTube. I think very often some of the videos on YouTube and the comments in those videos reflect what a person has already purchased. No one likes to think they made a bad decision and no one can say they’ve owned every pair of headphones out there. So all of this is very subjective. However, I must admit I am thoroughly impressed with the AirPod Pro. I do use the Sennheiser‘s for listening to classical music but I use the AirPods Pro for all other types of music and especially phone calls. There’s no taking away the fact that the AirPod Pro at present is the most convenient AirPods out there. Thanks for a great review as always!

  36. Mar Hvd on July 15, 2020 at 8:42 pm

for me the airpods are also number 1.

  37. Anthony Rojas on July 15, 2020 at 8:42 pm

When do you think the Sennheiser’s new Momentum 2 wireless earbuds are going to be released? Any thoughts or ideas?

  38. Eric Rodriguez on July 15, 2020 at 8:43 pm

I had the airpods pro the phone call quality is the best and connection so easy to pair up but for sound it’s great it’s just not that punchy enough the best for me as far is the Jabra elite 75t Even though It don’t have the same phone quality and easy to pair up on your iPhone like the airpods pro do but the Jabra elite 75t delivers such a punch so when I go to the gym it just gives me that extra boost and they sound louder not muddy not bright sound quality is awesome and I can say it’s a big competitor in the true wireless world 🌎

Hey bro I like your videos, but after Looking lots of videos for buying best pair of headphones, I’m getting more confused can you please help me to suggest a headphone as per my requirement and budget ($ 220).
    My requirements are
    (1) Great sound quality (2) Multiple devices connection (3) Best microphone call quality.

  42. Ryuji Sasaki on July 15, 2020 at 8:48 pm

Sony xb700 and samsung buds plus.. pps do there mic test too…nobody else is doing mic testing except rarely some..so thanks

  44. Efe Chief on July 15, 2020 at 8:52 pm

Honestly, I’m starting to think the tests in a controlled environment are not as reliable. The robotic voice of the 75t has been an issue but following the update not all reviewers are getting it in their controlled environment tests. The only consistency I’ve seen across the board are the airpods seem to have the best calling quality no matter the environment. The other earbuds seem to vary. Considering the price and size, I still believe the Jabra’s are the best all around performers and they will be updating their earbuds to work independently.

I read . . .In the second quarter of 2020, Jabra will enable two software features calls Jabra MyControls and Jabra MySound. MyControls will extend the functionality of the headset to include the ability to use just one earbud. . .

I little bit worried this means it will only be an option if you are connected to the app via android. Just have to wait and see.

  45. tex tex on July 15, 2020 at 8:54 pm

good video man! i’m a fan of sony but i have to recognize that in this case the airpods are better, i hope that with the next firmware update sony will improve the call performance

  46. Damon Guzman on July 15, 2020 at 8:56 pm

    No Galaxy Buds?

  47. Keith Whisman on July 15, 2020 at 8:56 pm

Thanks for being pretty much the only person making a video like this as everyone else seems to only be concerned with bass and though there is nothing wrong with that an ear bud should not be a total replacement for over the ear headphones.

  48. Dawn H on July 15, 2020 at 8:56 pm

Can you please do a review for best neckband bluetooth ear buds for calls? You do the very best with your reviews! Thank u!

Freebuds 3 apparently has amazing call quality. Any odds of you reviewing them?
