Bold N1 Review – Unbeatable Budget Flagship Performance

Bold N1 Review – Unbeatable Budget Flagship Performance

Bold is a brand new phone company created by BLU, designed to focus on more cutting edge technology, premium features, and really geared towards making really impressive flagship devices that compete with more higher tier devices, but at an affordable price point. The Bold N1 is Bold’s very first device, and Bold plans to release only 1 to 2 devices a year, versus multiple devices a year like BLU. The performance is great, using the MediaTek Helio P70 processor, 4GB of RAM, Android 9.0 Pie, 13MP Pop-Up Selfie Camera, 128GB of Storage, and so much more! All for the price of $199 (Sale Price), and $249.99 MSRP.

they can do it because Blu/bold doesn’t make the phone, they just sell it under their label. if you are a company like xioami, you can sell phones here under another brand without marketing and other expenses. like buying your supermarket brand of cereal, bleach, soap, canned veg, etc.

Though the phone may be gr8, only Tmobile will activate it. Tmob was not an option for me so 3 weeks later asked to return, they wanted to charge a restocking fee. I could c if all carriers could activate but its not my fault the phone has limited support AND they dont advertise this downside.

Great video. Pre-ordered on amazon for $250, saw they had the $50 price drop on blu, canceled the amazon one and ordered it from blu, no tax either on blu/bolds website N1 order! when amazon charged tax!

Nice man! Phone looks great especially at that price point.

  8. Vrsatile Productions on January 20, 2022 at 4:59 pm

Good heads up on how to save $50!
For $200 you can’t complain really.

I will say, what mic are you using? Or what source are you using to stream your audio?

  9. StackinRax on January 20, 2022 at 5:01 pm

Looks more or less like the G9 Pro. AMOLED sounds nice but takes a big hit on battery life and no face ID. Just bought my G9 pro last week and don’t think it’s worth returning it just to get this one instead .

The Russians hacked my Amazon account so fuck that!

Question about readability in direct sunlight? Which is brighter the Blu g9 pro or n1? Also wonderingly about battery life..

  13. Carnyzzle on January 20, 2022 at 5:05 pm

  14. nash gitaoh on January 20, 2022 at 5:05 pm

  15. Grant Likes Tech on January 20, 2022 at 5:05 pm

Nice review. Battery life seems a little disappointing, but the gameplay looked solid. Looks like a contender at this price point, which is getting really competitive.

How’s the super zoom camera? Was hoping for a wide angle rear camera, but a good zoom would be nice.

I thought that you all would like to know that today Nov. 3, 2019, BLU-PRODUCTS have finally released the longwaited Android Pie update for the BLU-XI+…!!

1000 Thank you, this means that BLU-Products has really changed its strategy in terms of updates to its cell phones, and also how concerned they are with the satisfaction of their customers…

  27. V'Ger on January 20, 2022 at 5:21 pm

How’s this phone after 3 years? Camera still pop up and updates?

  29. LegoPadawan on January 20, 2022 at 5:23 pm

Wow! You’re the only guy I’ve found to actually talk about the call quality of this phone, or any phone for that matter going back the last 5 YEARS. Keep it up!

  30. hotheadedjoelhaha on January 20, 2022 at 5:25 pm

No one talks about the bands that this phone does Not cover. Make sure your carrier works with This phone before you purchase.

  31. R J on January 20, 2022 at 5:26 pm

Amazing Simple Review! I Subbed , Keep Up The Reviews, Also I Recommend You To Make A Comparision Video Of Bold N1 VS Mi 9T But If You Cant Or If You Could Tell Me A Quick Answer, What Would You Recommend Mi 9T Or Bold N1? Im Trying To See Which One Is Better So I Can Buy It.

  36. NatureWalker on January 20, 2022 at 5:32 pm

May be a dumb question but does the phone charge with the case on it? Never had a wireless charging phone, just curious!

  37. Lonelyguy15 on January 20, 2022 at 5:32 pm

what’s the antutu and how warm does it get?

  38. Mikie H on January 20, 2022 at 5:33 pm

How much RAM does it have? Come on we all know it will never have Android 10. BLU also promised that the Blu vivo xl+ would get Android 9 pie but I don’t think it ever did

  39. WILEY on January 20, 2022 at 5:39 pm

Does it have OIS or EIS for video?

  40. chara2211 on January 20, 2022 at 5:40 pm

Tell me the truth, the most important thing in a phone for me, is speed, how it feels navigating and opening apps, scrolling and that stuff! Can you tell me how that feels please?

  41. Ulises A. Rodriguez Ph.D. on January 20, 2022 at 5:43 pm

Which version of Bluetooth does this new BOLD-N1 cell phone have?

  42. Juegos con Estéban Jaramillo on January 20, 2022 at 5:46 pm

Pics look a smidge blurry but the price is right.

  43. r q on January 20, 2022 at 5:46 pm

Which one has better camera? Blu g9 pro vs bold n1? I know they adopt same main camera sensor, but wonder which one has better image processing….

  44. Fred Flintstone on January 20, 2022 at 5:48 pm

Dude the first thing you need to do is fix your mic quality, go to staples and pick up a 10 dollar mic it HAS to be better than whatever you are using now lol.

  45. theox 2000 on January 20, 2022 at 5:48 pm

    no NFC. Poor battery. No

  46. floyd nelson on January 20, 2022 at 5:49 pm

I wonder how it compares to the blu vivo xi+ (mine broke two days ago). It’s the same price and a year older, but some of the specs are better: 2GB more ram, 16mp camera, but zoom on N1 may be better.

  47. Bighouse Productions on January 20, 2022 at 5:50 pm

Yes! I love what I see, Great looking build & solid specs & $200 price had me pull the trigger on this one! Its a cheaper Xiaomi 9t/K20. I’m in on this!

  48. FobbyChino on January 20, 2022 at 5:52 pm

I like this phone except for its batteries. Umidigi s3 pro, a luxury phone, selling at 299 (250 with coupon), has a 5150 mAh battery compared to Blu Bold 3500 mAh. Despite that, I might get it for my primary phone, and use the Umidigi as my phone to read on kindle.

  49. petosp on January 20, 2022 at 5:53 pm

Any real difference performance wise between this and the G9 Pro? Which one would.you rather and why..regards
