Bought one a while back. Cost me $25. Total piece of junk. Clothes come out basically the way they went in. Also, no water supply. Adding 1 cup of water in the front is tiresome. Would not recommend.

When I was little the kid versions were scaled-down but functioning versions of the real thing. I had mini tools including a drill, cookware, and an iron and board that really ironed clothes.

LOL You are too much~ Hot Point used to be a very good brand of major appliance (China ended this one too.)If you have nothing else to do with your money than waste it on this I suggest you buy some bit coins with it instead. The kid will appreciate the latter a whole lot more.
Then when you kid is old enough to see into a top loading machine, teach them how to do laundry for real!

I had one of these as child if you research the Casdon brand that makes these and you can find a picture of the old ones you’ll understand more, Casdon pay British company’s big sums to replicate their items, they also make replica Dyson Hoovers ect these are still branded Dyson on the toys not hoovermatic haha, I think cause hotpoint is now owned by Whirlpool the toy company Casdon lost the licence.

The old ones was literally scaled down replicas of real hotpoint machines they used to look top quality and was actually branded hotpoint not washmatic 🤣

It really was to my amazement having a tiny version of the mysterious big one, I think that’s why they have them key selling points on the box.

I’ve got a little girl now she’s 15mo and already fascinated by our machine I was going to get her one of these I don’t know now they look cheap, pretty disappointed actually nothing is of the quality it used to be.
