Are we just gonna ignore the fact that the GPU not in the top slot on the 2nd to last rig?

  4. Jordan Brown on June 30, 2020 at 7:29 pm

Why do they keep only having one stick of ram inside the El Cheapo machine. They should know by now that Dual Channel RAM provides a massive performance increase with minimal budget increase.

Why do I feel like Linus forgets he basically lives in a pc warehouse most the time 😂

My gaming pc is over 9 years old with an Intel extreme board and a dinosaur i7 870 and a r9 280x that still runs fine. I will upgrade when my motherboard fails.

  7. Jordan Brown on June 30, 2020 at 7:32 pm

Whenever you’re doing used PC parts shopping I always recommend you check out your local thrift store. You never know what you might find.

  11. a random guy on June 30, 2020 at 7:33 pm

For a good budget pc for £300 you could get a second hand go z600 and swap the graphics card for a 1050ti as it has a 295 nvs standard and will most likely will have around 24gb of ram in it and it has 2 cpus and 2 Gpus

  28. Brewergamer on June 30, 2020 at 7:56 pm

Just ordered parts for my newest gaming PC at 2800 dollars but I got a 500 dollar 240hz monitor so 2300 for hardware otherwise. Can’t wait to build er’ up. I know nobody probably cares but here’s what I’m building:

Radeon RX 5700XT GPU (I’ll be honest, I’ve always used GTX, wanted to give AMD a shot, my OCD tells me that since AMD makes both the processor and the graphics card that maybe they could work together and be better. Old PC is a GTX 970, will put old computer specs in parenthesis), Ryzen 9 3900X CPU (AMD FX-8350), 32GB of DDR4 4000mhz RAM (32GB DDR3 2800mhz), 2TB gen4 NVME, (dual drives 128 boot SATA SSD, 2tb Firecuda SSHD) and going from a 144hz monitor to a 240hz one. What do you all think of my new build vs my old one?

  29. The Jas1001 on June 30, 2020 at 7:57 pm

Highest tier of raspberry pi: $70

  30. Jean Roch on June 30, 2020 at 7:58 pm

PC master race be like "oh yeah, Tomb Raider, 4K max settings, 140 FPS"
Console wimps : "4K at 30 FPS is cinematic"

  42. Oscar Chang on June 30, 2020 at 8:13 pm

saved up abt 2k for PC in early 2018. got some good deals on asus rog strix z370f, gigabyte G1 GeForce 1080, intel i7 8700k, corsair vengence ddr4 16gb ram (bought another 16gb in 2019), corsair h100i v2, case, harddrive and m.2 sata for system. been running great

I also consider my PC to be probs mid (highish?) range

  43. Slick Rick on June 30, 2020 at 8:16 pm

  45. Merice on June 30, 2020 at 8:18 pm

I’ve seen than for "El Cheapo" the website show you the red banner who say than the motherboard may require an update for the cpu but do i need to make this update to use a pc like this one or can i don’t make the update and still use this pc ? Thanks if someone reply.

  46. Justen Steinfeldt on June 30, 2020 at 8:21 pm

    AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12 core
AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT 8GB
    32GB DDR4 RAM
    2x 2TB SSDs
    Water Cooled
    Modular Power Supply
    Stock Peripherals
    Surround Sound Setup
Can play any game out as of right now on ultra settings, only caveat is the RX 5700 XT doesn’t have Ray Tracing but as a trade off this rig easily produces 2-3 times the fps of a Ray Tracing rig.
Built this thing on a $1200 budget. Discounts and sales are awesome if you’ve got the patience. Just know that you don’t need $7K to get overkill graphics folks. Best of luck with your builds 🙂

  47. Armaan Ilyas on June 30, 2020 at 8:22 pm
