Electric Power (3 of 3) Calculating the Cost of Electric Power

This video shows you how to calculate the cost of electric power usage by calculating the cost to pop popcorn.

Electric power describes how fast electric potential energy is convert to other forms of energy such as heat, light and motion. Power is measured in watts. One watt is when one joule of energy is converted to another form of energy in one second.

Another great video! Thank you for this! I’m really not trying to be picky, but 0.23 cents is not equal to 23 cents. I know it doesn’t seem like such an egregious error, but it is after all two orders of magnitude in difference. Maybe express as $ 0.23 or as 23c? Subbed a few videos back btw!!! I love your videos!

Cost, as in money, finances, cash, taxes. and all of the financial jargon, are not of God. Why are people wanting to use a system, that is not of God? Jesus did not have a price list. He did not say make price tags. It is blasphemy to call this a Christian nation. Christians care about people, not money. Money, existing anywhere, will say, love me. Act like you care about people.

Nice explanation sir. But, can I ask you a favor? Can you make a video about the difference between KWh and KW/h. It’s annoying to hear some people say "KW/h" and even support it with self generated opinions. For non electrical people this may sound unfamiliar, but it will educate those who knows little about this and the importance of correct unit. Thank you sir in advance

If I have a 18.4 kWh battery and it takes 4 hrs to a charge with level 2 charger at 0.21516/kWh, it comes out to $19.79. Its seems high. Is this right?
