Dobyns Fury is a solid choice and from what I’ve seen pairs well with this reel. It’s what I’ll be pairing when I get my Curado dc

I never use a reel until the line has been on for 24 hours. Needs to develop a little memory.
I just got my DC yesterday at academy on sale 1 day flash sale for 187 I couldn’t past that up …if never seen it on sale anywhere..
Finally got mine paired with my new st croix avid x medium-heavy moderate action. Now I have to wait for spring for the ice to melt. I’ll amid, I’ve casted on top of the frozen canal behind my house. Smooth…but i want a fish!
Keep me updated on that reel. I have saw them, but I’d like to know what you think about it after a few months or so. Nice review.
I’m quite a noob using bait cast reels , so my question is , is it good for new guys into baitcasting?
You have to set it up right, if you do for every bait you don’t have to apply any thumb pressure whatsoever, I just bought this reel as well and it is one of my best investments for fishing I’ve ever made

So I bought my Curado DC about 2 weeks ago. I’m super happy with reel. Um you were asking what rod to pair the reel with. I’ve pair up my Curado DC with a 7,3 medium heavy Abu Garcia Villian 2.0. Reason for that is that I wanted to have a light rod which suits the light weight of the Curado DC and the Villian looks really cool, so it matches the cool look of the reel. Great video otherwise 👍 I hope you find a rod that suits you best.
