"Includes paid promotion", should have said "who video is an advert". CLICK BAIT!

  8. Samgab on June 3, 2020 at 5:06 pm

Thanks for the efforts, I guess, but this video annoyed me a bit. The whole point of the video (I thought) was supposed to be about improvements from the Racechip product, but then doing laps around a tiny little corner-filled circuit are virtually meaningless. Bigger factors on such a circuit are the weight of the car, the tire grip, the brakes, the suspension, and variances in the driving each time, as shown by the lap times. So it didn’t show at all the main point of the video: the changes or improvements from the Racechip. Quarter mile times in a straight line may have demonstrated this better, IMHO. I would love to see 1/4 mile times, and/or 0-60 times; factory, econo, sport, and race, back to back. Anyway, I guess I should go out and do that myself, if that’s what I want to see…

Don’t suppose you guys have a shop do you? or maybe sell other peoples stuff do you? Just wondered

Chiptuned my Saab, gained about 75hp and 120nm

  15. Niklas Lindberg on June 3, 2020 at 5:18 pm

10:40. Maybe that 2,35s just comes because you’re driving and training and improving yourself? Maybe all the money spent is just for nothing?

  16. Snozze23 Řehoř on June 3, 2020 at 5:20 pm

    Well,it is a waste of money…

  17. Filip Štih on June 3, 2020 at 5:22 pm

    Can you register a racechip?

  18. Stef on June 3, 2020 at 5:22 pm

    Totally bs

  19. Smiffdogg init on June 3, 2020 at 5:23 pm

All this bullshit that people are talking in the comments is stupid. You can clearly see the car improving ffs

  20. gary byrne on June 3, 2020 at 5:24 pm

What a nob goes around flexing his muscles at the camera no one gives a shit that you go to the gym

just proves that more power is always the answer

  24. R O Malley on June 3, 2020 at 5:26 pm

how much have you spent so far? its a great way to support you business, but what point is it easier and cheaper to buy a M3?

  25. hdf hhddff on June 3, 2020 at 5:28 pm

    Love those German machines.

  26. The Montage on June 3, 2020 at 5:29 pm

The carthrottle website doesn’t work I can’t find anything other than tee-shirts , I would love to buy the tar chip

  27. Sly Dood on June 3, 2020 at 5:31 pm

I had a 330d chipped and it ripped the sub frame from the chassis, blew the turbo and the head gasket. Be warned.

  28. Fynn_Daubner on June 3, 2020 at 5:34 pm

    nothing for x1 😣

  29. Jake S on June 3, 2020 at 5:34 pm

Didn’t you see the first episode about sudden shocks losing traction? An episode of hitting curbs and avoiding curbs would be great!

  30. Reaper_ EGA on June 3, 2020 at 5:35 pm

OK, problems here are: 1) fractions of a second is within the margin of ‘error’, 2) You’d obviously be faster on the last few attempts around any track, 3) no solid proof that these things actually work, wheres the scientific black and white evidence, some guy standing at the side of the start/finish line with a stop watch on his phone? again, within the margin of error…
Was thinking about getting one for my shitty MK3 Focus 1.6 TDCi 105bhp, I feel like these chip tune boxes are a like snake oil / waste of money. £150-ish for an extra 32HP + torque (+25-30%) on my car would be great if they do the job but this video just fills me with scepticism :/

  31. John Smith on June 3, 2020 at 5:36 pm

It would be great to see tuning box upgrade put on a rolling road to demonstrate alleged improvements.

  32. Aidan Ryan 458 on June 3, 2020 at 5:36 pm

    6 months later sells garaoth

BMW Fanatics, E46 330d, E91 330d or F31 330d? whats the best bang for buck

  36. Rares Apavaloaie on June 3, 2020 at 5:42 pm

    Why diesel?

  37. Picard Z4 on June 3, 2020 at 5:46 pm

Real-world case study: Tried RaceChip for an F30 328i N20. Threw codes and produced odd burning smell from under hood. There was a power bump but I was concerned about the side effects. Was returned for tweaking by reseller. Same result. Lost trust in the product. It seemed to be turning up the boost to produce power in an unsophisticated fashion. Binned it and went for an ECU tune, Bootmod3. No codes and no burning smell. Have gone from Stage 1 now to Stage 2 without complications.
In conclusion, if you want refinement from your tune and perhaps better longevity, it’s an ECU tune not a piggy back. For me, it’s BM3 for the win…
PS – I am not sponsored by either.

  38. Dan Ked on June 3, 2020 at 5:48 pm

Il stick to a remap and my 335bhp in my 330d e92.

  39. James Saunders on June 3, 2020 at 5:48 pm

Even in eco it looks and sounds faster. Unless of course it is camera work. 🤔 Who knows, great fun either way. Quicker off the line.

  40. Jason Conway on June 3, 2020 at 5:48 pm

How come a change of wheels and tyres resulted in 3 times the improvement of a race chip?! 1.4s vs 0.44s

  41. Alex Marius on June 3, 2020 at 5:49 pm

    :)) dyno never lies

  42. Ole K. Stokke on June 3, 2020 at 5:49 pm

    Radio 1 😀

  43. Mike P on June 3, 2020 at 5:51 pm

To prove its not all ‘in your head’ get someone to change the settings without telling you, or even switch the unit off

  44. Mitch F on June 3, 2020 at 5:52 pm

Lmao what a load of shit

  45. Nick Schwartz on June 3, 2020 at 5:53 pm

Why is it actually difficult to find a video for race chip that is not sponsoring the video and changing it to an advert.

  46. Jimmy Corkhill on June 3, 2020 at 5:54 pm

    10:36 Its not an M3

  47. C M on June 3, 2020 at 5:54 pm

It’s not the chip that made the car faster. Practice makes perfect. You just took many chances to get used to the car and track and you won.

  48. Rhian Taylor on June 3, 2020 at 5:54 pm

I question the logic of using a bendy "handling" circuit to test engine power – test new shocks by all means but you would do better to test power on a dragstrip !

  49. Heinz Grabowski on June 3, 2020 at 5:54 pm

Put a nos sticker on it. +15HP instantly

  50. The Insufferable Tool on June 3, 2020 at 5:55 pm

This track sesh is what I imagine with any used car I look at…

“never beat on, never raced, no mods”

    I have trust issues.
