HOW TO DO THE COIN LAUNDRY BUSINESS WRONG-EAST, TEXAS
I made a cold call to this store after meeting with a potential investor one evening. This was the closest laundry to the location I was looking at with the investor. This store has no attendant and is only the second token operated store I’ve ever seen. I did a short interview with a store customer after this video. It will be called “how to do the coin laundry business wrong-East, Texas-interview.”
Why so much hate for tokens? I know this video is 8 years old, but now days, token is the easiest way to offer credit card payments. Yes I do agree the store needs some ‘love’, but don’t understand the token hate. So did you get the store fixed up?
I think it is the customers that are the problem and not the owners . I highly doubt the owners are doing the grafitti punching the holes in the wall and using and abusing the machines. You sound like a typical renter .
Trying to advertise on my page!
How gauche.
my wife and i are looking to open a 24 hour laundry matt in our town, do you have any advice. as where to start?
Oh… look… another one of those "I know everything" type of people…. smh… annoying.
I want to do the kiosk (pay station). The tokens are a joke though.
Get a life.
This store looks fine to me. Narrow aisles? So what. The machines look fine. Only a few are out of order. The holes are bad, yes, and the tape should be replaced, but it is well lit, modern, plenty of room and tables. What do people really expect?
this laundromat dosen’t have any top load washers?
no fat ass he has you with your camera . Nothing better to do than mope around other peoples laundry facilities and find fault .
I’ve seen a lot worse. For the area it’s in it’s not that bad.
That laundry is in the hood in Longview. Been in it a couple of times.
I could make a nice store out of that…damn shame.
CoinLaundryUSA, If you ever make it to the San Francisco Bay ARea, I know of a laundromat that’s atrocious..Half of the machine have been broken and have been for a while.
open 24 hours, there’s another reason the doors in the Plumbing racks vandalized.
you moron talking about handicapped people If someone is that handicapped that they cant make it down those aisles they do not belong out in public doing laundry
Thnaks for watching the videos. a lot of smaller stores like this one don’t produce enough revenue to need a full time attendant. If you can afford an attendant it help the business. Customers feel safer and the can help customers as well as keep the store clean and do the wash dry and fold business.
Thanks a lot for taking and commenting this video. I’m looking to start the launderette so that’s helpful
the only thing wrong with this laundromat is left unattending. Everything should be in place if the owner hire somebody working at the store. One or couple machine out of order is not a big of deal. 🙂
Man. They’ll let ANYBODY in that place, won’t they. Honestly, I’ve seen much, much worse.
One of their machines took my quarters, so I came back on a Saturday and dumped in a bag of Quickrete and let it go through all cycles. I wish I could have been there to see set up in the washer. I still crack up everytime I think of it.
While I agree that this one leaves allot to be desired and could be better then it is. The unatended laundromat is pretty much the standard here in Australia(unless it’s part of a commercial laundry), as the cost of paying wages for an attendant would make a public laundromat unaffordable here.
