Nitric acid was used for the extraction of gold.
Place radio components in a glass jar, fill it with nitric acid and heated.
But directly heating isn’t suggested. Take the bowl with water and put on at stove.
Put jar with radio components in the bowl.
For melting the gold was used gas lighter with burning temperature 1300°C
0.5g gold was obtained from this batch.

it is VERY TRUE!! you would not believe the things that get gold plated,,most all of these items have a very specific purpose but in most cases there were too many of them made and the manufactory must sell to someone to recover cost,,so they get sold to some electronic manufacturer and get used for some completely out of place purpose where you would expect to find any gold plated item
