I used an ordinary dinner ceramic plate to rest on the edge of the cone adding evenly distributed weight whilst the ‘super glue’ cured.. 3hours and repair real good.. 👍
there is a lot more to speaker performance than appearance. a cheap set of Walmart speakers would sound better that those Chrysler Infinity’s. Had a Jeep Gran Cherokee with the Infinity sound system. Replaced all four door speakers with Polk Audio 6.5 inch. Huge improvement.
So if it’s still producing sound but it’s very quiet- and I’ve tried I went into the settings to try and turn up the volume(it says it’s as loud as it can go)- but my dad used my laptop to record his band performing and blew the speakers when he played the Audio at 100% 😀 how do I fix it lmao

You use the brush to spread glue, also why repair a stock speaker when the voice coil is probably next to go?

The brush is so you place glue on brush and apply evenly around. good job any way.
