Multiple thumbnails popup while the video is playing and cover about a fourth of the screen. This makes it hard to see the process. Why does YouTube allow this? It’s disrespectful to the v-loggers to have their work obscured, and it detracts from the experience overall.
I have a ’07 Acura TL I just bought Monday. Its half taken apart right now but after I get it back together I need to focus on the rips in the leather seats! Thanks for this video! I am hoping I can fix then to atleast prevent them from getting worse!
Let it dry for 24h at 65°F impossible in Puerto Rico hahaha
Will this work on steering wheels?
You my friend are a genius. Thank you for sharing your secrets on leather repairs.
So can i fill all the cracks with that too?
I think I could use this concept on repairing cracks in my dash and using vinyl spray paint
Hi!
I click on the paint and it’s says ford black. What paint did you used on that seat. Thank you
This surprises me because most silicone’s will not hold paint.
Would you recommend the same for marine applications. Need to restore some seats on a 2008 boat and also thinking of changing the color. Thanks.
Wow! I’m going to do my 2001 Galant GTZ leather seats. It’s my project car. Great video
30 minutes REALLY!!!
Show tks.
Awesome video great tips I’m big fan have a question how do you fix a peeled leather is the same silicone method will apply here a pic https://photos.app.goo.gl/ZMzH8h7FDDNvLpJi7
Hello all, where do you buy the spray paint?
I’m gonna try this on my explorer’s seats. Thanks for the vid
Clear coat after?
Another reason not to pay extra for leather. Looks like shit after just a few years.
Outcome was great but after painting how did the leather feel??
Is it alright to go with a completely different color? I’ve got a 78 corvette and the stock cream is gonna become black, sets are the last bit I need done.
If money was no object I would fly you to Chantilly Va and pay you large quantities of no object money to make my 04 Lexus LS430 drivers seat look perfect again.
Excellent demonstration – thanks for sharing all the tools and techniques!!
Wow…the silicone thing actually worked and worked well…Easy…I have a 93 vette with only 40.000 miles on it and is almost pristine condition with white leather seats…my parents dog jumped in my car poking a whole in the passenger seat…a couple of years ago i bought a leather repair kit only making the area on the seat worse then it was…I tried this method with the silicone and it worked…I like the idea that it doesn’t have to be perfect as it will blend in with the texture of the rest of the seat…Clean …fast and easy..I ended up doing the other small cracks in both seats…you can’t even tell….
Is that literally just spray paint at the end? What kind? do you just wait for the spray paint to dry and its good?
Will this spray clog the holes on heated and air conditioning seats?
That’s pretty impressive
I do not know much English, and I write through a translator. How long will such a repair last?
Awesome video mate and a fantastic finish. Can’t wait to try this out on my old leathers. You have a sub!
Can you use this method on a 2001 navigator that has a 6" rip in leather..with holes for heated/ac in seat? Please let me know!
Dude, what was, the product ,you used ,after the 99 %,then, leather prep.,I am, ready to try this on blk. Town Car seats.
I need help buying the ringt product
The seats on my 95 Ford Bronco are perforated. Is there a way to recreate the little holes?
Wow!!!
Hi there. How are those seats holding up ??
Thanks for your post. I resprayed my wife’s Toyota Camry. Seats look brand new.
Just found this and tried it on an old motorcycle seat. Worked like a charm! Youve got a sub bud!
That is pretty trick, nice job!
Wow definitely gonna try this with my "new" vinyl couch i just got it has small bits of cracking everywhere
Hi bro how’s it going I see you showing all these videos on leather repair but I want to know what type of ingredients in products do you buy to clean no love I’ve been asking you and I just want to know what do you go do you go to eBay Amazon do make this product for us I want to know what type of product do you use to clean your leather please help me
what if it’s a big tear such that you can see the foam inside?
Super helpful- gonna try it… but confused as to which spray paint you used- there are 2 different ones listed in the product links…?
I own a shoe and leather repair what type of paint are you using thank you
I want to do this on my car, but I’m too scared to take the seats out of it. Any suggestions?
Your video overlay says "30 minutes later"…… How is this possible when the first step after cleaning, you have to put 3 to 4 layers on (waiting 10 minutes between each layer) and THEN you have to let the silicone dry for 24 hours? Very deceiving….
I buy .98
I began this technique and so far so good. What was the dry time on the Silicon?
Okc?
Love the "Please Share" graffiti in the background. 😀
Couple of questions. What exactly type of 99% cleaner are you speaking of? question 2. Where do you get the spray on vinyl colors you are speaking of?
Unclear whether the LVP Refinisher Paint was used or the SEM Classic Coat Paint
