Hey everyone! Wanted to make this video about the gear we use to make our Vlogs when we are shooting on our Phones. There is a ton of gear out there and sometimes it can be a bit overwhelming to know exactly what to buy. My (Caleb) personal rule is to always keep it simple. If it gets too complicated then it defeats the purpose of shooting on your Phone 🙂
This is just the gear we use and enjoy. These are not the only options to make good mobile vlogs. EXCEPT for the Lenses of course ☺️

You implied that you can use headphones whilst recording. My Android camera and the Open Camera seem to not allow audio output while recording. Is there software which enables that?

I cant get my mv88 microphone to stay plugged in with your moment case. I need the lens and the microphone at the same time .
Lots of places I also need lights and would really like a light set up with this small portable set up.
Then I did the rode video micro and with the moment case on it will not plug in solidly either. they both pop back out. I see you doing it… but mine wont.

I bought the dji mobile 3 and have the same challenges. Cant use the microphone! Did you cut the area a little bit to make the microphone be able to stay plugged in .
