Do these amplifier have inbuilt crossover which divides frequency between subs and high frequency speaker

Cool video, well I m having problem with amplifier. I m trying to connect 600w rms subwoofer and 250w rms speakers to a
Pioneer GM-D8704 Class-D 1200w 4-Channel bridgeable amplifier. Will it work? Thanks.

Where can i order those wire splitter covers the single to dual

  5. Shawn Libby on October 3, 2021 at 4:57 am

It’s also good to put tape around your screwdrivers or dip them and some kind of silicone helps with screwing the amp wires down without scraping or leaving marks on AMP and in case somebody has power going still somewhere it won’t Ark just something I did over the years

  6. kylan nealy on October 3, 2021 at 4:58 am

So I can wire four 4ohm door speakers to my 2 channel amp at 2ohms?

  7. Michael Williams on October 3, 2021 at 4:58 am

Ok this is probably an obvious answer but if you run the wiring from the amp to the speaker locations what do you do with the factory wiring coming from both the harness and at the speaker connections?

  8. Mr. Magic on October 3, 2021 at 4:59 am

Love those cables set up super clean 👌

  9. Jetro Ompoc on October 3, 2021 at 5:00 am

  10. Rafael Rodriguez on October 3, 2021 at 5:01 am

How you do 4ohms 6 speakers to a mono block full range amp?

  11. KornShaDoW097 on October 3, 2021 at 5:01 am

So hooking up 2 speakers to a single channel… Does this make a typical 4ohm speaker into a 2ohm speaker using this method?

  12. DoubleDeckerAnton on October 3, 2021 at 5:02 am

    Really helpful video.

  13. James Bennett on October 3, 2021 at 5:02 am

    “It’s pretty simple…”
Whips out connectors, pieces of rubber, expensive tools, soldering iron and heat gun in first two minutes.

  15. Ashley Penner on October 3, 2021 at 5:04 am

So im trying to do a 5 channel on a 4 channel amp. Some of my speaker wire were bad so i thought I’d upgrade to 10 gauge. With this, I cant get two speakers to connect the way its shown in the video. Can I do a Y split, connecting positives with positive to amp, and negative with negative to amp? Or can I use distributive blocks? I’m a noob if you cant tell

  16. Utpal Hazarika on October 3, 2021 at 5:04 am

Very good video 👌👍. The method described for installing subwoofer and 2 speakers together on 2 channel amp is applicable for home amp of 360 watt RMS power?

  17. Dtrkshadow on October 3, 2021 at 5:05 am

Is the soldering necessary for putting the connector end on?

Good clear video.. Havent done it in 20yrs

  21. Strat tone 73 on October 3, 2021 at 5:07 am

Its STR8 forward when u hooking even amount of spkers nd using same ohms!! Gets complicated when u run into uneven amout of spkrs !! Thats were it gets challenging as per how to get the best power nd clarity out the system!! In my case i have 12 spkrs OEM nd replacing all them w higher watts all @4 ohms,,,, w 2 amps, one a5 ch w 5th ch for bass D class ch , nd the other a2 ch D CLASS sub amp , both rated each 2500w , all my speakers rated each at 200w w 3 subs rated each@ 300-600w 4 ohm

  22. alreddy13 on October 3, 2021 at 5:07 am

What if my vehicle has 10 speakers?! 4 low doors, one center dash, 2 rear corner deck, 2 high front door tweeters and one rear center deck subwoofer. Hoe would I connect all of them to an amp?!

  23. LakinLejau on October 3, 2021 at 5:09 am

    Easy and clear. Good job.

  24. MG on October 3, 2021 at 5:09 am

I’m late but thanks so much. I learned alot from this video.

  25. Stuart Owens on October 3, 2021 at 5:12 am

Finally! Someone who explains it in a way that makes sense. Great video.

  26. Strat tone 73 on October 3, 2021 at 5:13 am

    Great vid helpful!! But how bout 3 dash 3,5 …2 .6/9 F doors 2-3,5 rear doors 2-6/9 sub rear nd 1 8" sub total W a 5 ch A/b nd an 2 ch D all spckrs are at 4 ohms ?

  27. Jesse Cruz on October 3, 2021 at 5:14 am

When you say your running the door speakers parallel in the 5 channel example. Does that mean you’re changing the impedance? Thats confusing cos i have 4ohm speakers and by doing this will they go down to 2 ohm? I only ask cos i was trying to go with super tweeters which i could bridge. But if this changes my impedance from 4 ohm to 2 ohm it may fry my speakers as the amp at 2 ohm goes above the safety power guideline of the speakers

  28. Jay Hay on October 3, 2021 at 5:15 am

The RCA cables seem to be my Achilles heel. I have a 6 channel Alpine amp with 4 door speakers and 2 subs. So do I need 6 RCA cables coming from my head unit?, Or does it know which is which, as far as low end signal and high end?

  29. Rell on October 3, 2021 at 5:15 am

    Im still lost…calling a professional

  30. nothing on October 3, 2021 at 5:17 am

what about the inputs? everybody forgets about the inputs. how do i connect the inputs for a 4 ch amp to 2 speakers out in bridge mode

  31. Steven Gogakos on October 3, 2021 at 5:17 am

I want to ask if I set my amplifier as 5 channel (6:10)in your video, I have 4 speakers (front 30watt rms, rear 70watt rms) at 4 ohms and my amplifier is 4X50watt rms at 4 omhs. My subwofer bridged as you show. My sbwoofer is 150watt rms at 8 omhs but I will connect a resistance 50watt of 8ohms parallel. will I have a problem?

  32. brian Sawyer on October 3, 2021 at 5:18 am

So basically all bridging does is utilize the power from the amp, so if you have a 2 channel amp and one sub you are taking the power from the other channel and putting it all to that one sub/channel?

  33. what ever on October 3, 2021 at 5:18 am

    Wtf that music sucks

  34. menjivar76 on October 3, 2021 at 5:21 am

Awesome video, nice explained everything. I have a question, I have a Nissan titan truck with after market stereo and speakers, 2 small speakers on the dashboard, 2 on the front door and a set of 6.5" mid range on the rear doors with crossovers and tweeters, also a 10" subwoofer. I just got a new amp a pioneer GM- DX874 class D 4 channel . A friend give me a dual subwoofer goes under the back sit, can I use this amplifier to connect this dual sub with the speakers or do I need to get a separate amp just for the subs?

  35. ral819 on October 3, 2021 at 5:21 am

Thanks for helping me to understand bridged connections better…

  36. Mitchelsankow on October 3, 2021 at 5:26 am

  40. Mitchell Velez on October 3, 2021 at 5:29 am

  41. trey tyrick on October 3, 2021 at 5:30 am

I went to Rockford’s website and I want to buy a pair of coaxial speakers. They say the rms rating is 100watts. Is that per speaker or the combined.

  42. James Painter on October 3, 2021 at 5:30 am

Some extremely valuable feedback: that musical background is anoooying and deterred me from listening and had to turn it off!
