Is it better to use full coolant, or mix 50/50 with distilled water? I heard full coolant has acid in it and ruins your seals.
That’s a very interesting concept. I like it very much. It exists also in Le Mans (France, where I live). And I think it is also some kind of public service. Many people do not have enough money to get their car fixed, so they drive with old brakes, old tires, old suspensions… Witch is dangerous for them, and for everybody. So, if you have a place where you can rev it up for cheap, that’s can actually save lifes !
Fort sill had one on post military personnel and family use only early 90’s I assume it’s still there. So nice.

Holy cow, would I love a place like that in Las Vegas! Very socialist idea – sharing equipment n knowledge for a very affordable fee 🙂 Like what we should be doing with healthcare 🙂

U do it Auto repair is not a good place to take your car. They are unprofessional and they will keep your car for extended periods of times and your car still won’t be fixed.

I did my own car a mechanic shop. Removed the real sit and install inside the house…
Hey! Automotive style. Then put all my tools (hand tools) inside since the trunk and rear is one single space.
Next project is weld electric Jack’s under the vehicle, so can lift itself with the press of a botom. Of course, I would like to go to "u do it" but where is available in the desert?

I’m in boise idaho, about 10 years ago started to open such a business. when I got to the insurance that killed the business. It was over 100,000 per year. this would be so helpful for everyone.

Wow, this is pretty neat. I’m definitely gonna tell all my family who is mechanically inclined. It’s too bad I didn’t know about it while living in an apartment.
I wonder whether this would work if Autozone or the junkyards incorporated this concept to their operations. Seems like a natural fit, $10/hr or free with purchases over $50.

No this idea is perfect for just about any automotive work if there were more places like this and put a lot of mechanics out of business and employ a lot of mechanics as well even teach some people how to be a mechanic
