I don’t get why trackpad has to be placed so far left. It bothers me so much that I woudn’t buy this laptop for this reason alone.

As a photo editing workflow tool, how well does the stylus function in tablet (or possibly presentation) mode(s)?

Is there a lenovo laptop superslim, superlight and has 12" screen?

  25. Linh Nguyen on August 24, 2020 at 10:02 pm

Being a sad Razer fanboy, I went to Best Buy intending to buy a Razer Blade 15 and walked out with this instead. Lenovo is pretty low in my laptop brand rankings but this particular laptop hits on nearly everything I need:
    – A metal unibody that isn’t too prone to fingerprints
    – It has a numpad, which most laptops don’t have, even at 15" , but important to me
    – Strong specs with a 6-core i7, 16GB, 512GB NVMe and discrete GPU (the Blade has almost the same specs except the much stronger RTX, but I don’t really game anymore)
    – Good feeling keyboard and trackpad (to me anyways), I actually found the Blade’s keyboard rather annoying to type on
    – Great IPS screen with lots of nits, touch capability is a bonus. 1080p is just right – the GTX 1650 can’t push 4K anyways if you game at all
    – Webcam can be PHYSICALLY disabled without taping paper over it – very elegant solution, kudos to Lenovo on this one
    – $500 saving over the $2k Blade – Razer tax is real

Lenovo has done terrible things to the ThinkPad name but it seems like their Yoga lineup is shaping up to be a fine competitor to the Dell XPS in the premium, high productivity segment. If this Yoga doesn’t quit on me within the return period I will keep it, it is such a great laptop so far.

  26. screamindemon6x on August 24, 2020 at 10:03 pm

Why don’t they mention the the most important thing, it is a touchscreen that has a Geforce GTX 1650 in it, not an MX150 or 250. I’ve been searching laptops for 3 days and can’t find any that offer a touchscreen that has a better gpu than the MX250, except for this one. Why? Why must it be that if you want a touchscreen laptop that you are limited to the MX150, MX250, M950, or Vega GPUs? These are not beefy enough for gaming. This is the only laptop that offers a better GPU, but with the touchscreen as well. Correct me if I’m wrong?

  28. Lulu2u2 on August 24, 2020 at 10:04 pm

9 HOURS! Battery….is that in "Battery Saver" mode? I only got 4.5 hours battery life.

  29. Louie Sabiano on August 24, 2020 at 10:04 pm

I dont like this kind of laptop because it doesn’t have HDMI/VGA its not capable for work and students

  30. Karuna on August 24, 2020 at 10:04 pm

Just got this laptop 2 days ago and I love it so far! It’s the first high end laptop I own after a bunch of questionable ones and the build quality and performance are amazing. It runs just as well as my similarly specced desktop! Overall I’m really happy I bought this instead of an ultrabook.

Oh bonus points: the iron grey finish is beautiful, it gives the laptop such a nice, premium look. It also feels really good lmao

  31. Alex B on August 24, 2020 at 10:07 pm

i just got the yoga c940 14". i didn’t even realize they had a 15", but seeing that number pad is a deal breaker for me. i can’t stand having the main keyboard and touchpad shifted to the left like that. i deal with that on my hp probook for work. so far so good with the c940. screen could be taller and tent mode is more useful to me than the true tablet form, but these are minor issues for a versatile machine like this.

    Price kya hai

  33. Philipp Haselwarter on August 24, 2020 at 10:10 pm

Why the subpar keyboard and clickpad, why Lenovo? They clearly know how to do better. Give us an X1 extreme Yoga!

  34. Azeem Khan on August 24, 2020 at 10:10 pm

I got mine and it’s just incredible ….so nice and beautiful machine (Core i9 – 9880H, 16gb Ram, SSD 2 TB, GTX 1650)

Does this also allow for charge limit?

  38. xy liu on August 24, 2020 at 10:13 pm

really doubt the accuracy of the battery life. 57 Wh, NINE hours ???

  39. xaositectz on August 24, 2020 at 10:15 pm

unfortunately the extreme is not $50 more. I just customized the 15" c490 with an i9 processor, 16G RAM and 1TB ssd. the x1 extreme with the exact same settings but an i7 processor come out at $2350, $300 more than the yoga. The only available i9 setup is over $800 more expensive than the yoga.

I literally just got this laptop so I can’t say too much yet, but I was a little concerned after watching this that the texture would be uncomfortable on the wrists after typing for a long time. I just want to say, I don’t know why I didn’t think of this until I tried it, but your wrists should be lightly lifted when you type, seldom if ever touching that part of the laptop. If you do drag your wrists, I can see the texture being a little annoying, but try to use it as a reminder to lift because limp typing wrists are a 1 way ticket to carpal tunnel syndrome. And just like that, I’ve become a matronly 5th grade teacher.

Not sure should I take this or Macbook Pro 16"

  42. Rompe Dask on August 24, 2020 at 10:19 pm

Hi, looking to buy this one for when i start school again in august. Do you know when the new model/ upgrraded model gets released ? ‘I don’t want to buy a laptop this expensive if i know the specs are gonna get outdated after a few months.

I need help! Im concidering to buy this computer, is recomendes for my collage major.

I had a friend that told me he got a pc of $1,000, the battery life get worthless after 6 months and they get viruses easy than it die in a year, a pc of $1,000.

He told me that may be that is just his case but he didn’t recomended to me and is exacly what im looking for. He recomend me a mac but I see that all computers have some bad reviews no matter how expensive they are.

Im a student with not rich perents who is considerimg to buy an expensive computer by my own and I realy what to spend that for a good computer that will last long, at least 5 years. In my collage literaly you are obligated to jave a computer, plus this virus corfew.
I realy need a good computer.

    What you recomend me?

Once you go touchscreen you never go back. Everything else feels clunky. Nice of you to mention the X1 tho. The C940 lacks a bit in ports is one thing i noticed. My 3 year old budget Yoga 13" or so has more ports + ethernet port..

  45. Matisse Nestler on August 24, 2020 at 10:22 pm

I have 930, works great. it just gets to hot. cooling is not its strength

  46. Andrea Sanchez on August 24, 2020 at 10:24 pm

Do you think that for 3DS MAX works the graphics card and the cooling resistance?
