Level 7 Games 10th Anniversary Video Game Swap Denver, CO – Ft. DubiousGamingOnline | Nefarious Wes

Level 7 Games, an awesome retro game store chain local to Denver, CO, recently celebrated their 10th anniversary by hosting a huge video game swap at their Lakewood location. J.Dubious from DubiousGamingOnline and I had to stop by and check it out. Co-hosted by the#ClassicGamersofColorado Facebook group, here are some highlights from a pretty awesome day of hanging with fellow retro game lovers and collectors at #Level7Games.

    Was that freedom force music?

  2. Jasen Weitekamp on June 29, 2020 at 7:26 pm

Ikari Warriors is tedious but the last couple of areas look pretty cool. Iron Tank is a blast! Glad you got some footage of Castle Grey Skull,. I literally haven’t seen it since I was 9 or 10

  3. dem gutts on June 29, 2020 at 7:29 pm

Freedom force baby, I loved that game as a kid, blood everywhere, never understood the mk censorship because of this game.

  4. maximpact24 on June 29, 2020 at 7:30 pm

Oh hell yes Wes! Kunio Kun all the way! Glad you finally got a copy of Super Dodgeball to play. I must say these swap meets are great fun to watch. Would love to see more.

Happy anniversary, Level 7! I’ve never seen a game store that packed before. I kind of want to go to a game swap someday, but it looks dangerous. I would have been sorely tempted by that Sharp Twin Famicom and Castle Grayskull. Decent pickups, except for IW 😉

  6. Do You Nerd? on June 29, 2020 at 7:31 pm

Damn, panties dropping as soon as you pull up! lol Wait, the owner doesn’t take any guff from anyone? How are YOU able to shop there? ha ha
Really love the community vibe here; this is great!

Man, love me some Super Dodge Ball–actually, even before Mario, it was the first game I beat!

  7. Linda aka the gamergirl on June 29, 2020 at 7:32 pm

That was sweet you got recognized there. That was crazy how packed it was. Great video.

  8. Rick Deckard on June 29, 2020 at 7:33 pm

Wait, Dood! You didn’t mention the best Video Game of all time !! 05:23

  9. Chris Calvert on June 29, 2020 at 7:36 pm

I saw the case for Gimmick! That’s a great but ridiculously priced game.

  10. Hungry Goriya on June 29, 2020 at 7:39 pm

This is just like the kinds of swaps I go to out my way, and I love rummaging through tables of games. I’m glad you went home with a few. Sad there’s still no Beetlejuice in your collection! 🙂

  12. Esteban Cruz on June 29, 2020 at 7:41 pm

  13. Gaijillionaire on June 29, 2020 at 7:41 pm

Hey we put up videos at exactly the same time! I let the ad roll holla 💵! Looks like a nice shop

  14. Great White North on June 29, 2020 at 7:46 pm

  15. Pragmatik on June 29, 2020 at 7:46 pm

Strange how Tennessee doesnt seem to have many swap meet. Let alone a retro game store that last a few years. Some awesome finds man! That dual console looked interesting

Brilliant Idea, Your channel had motivated me to become a YouTuber. Thank you

  17. SlyBeast on June 29, 2020 at 7:48 pm

Iron Tank is a favorite of mine. There’s not really anything else like it. It’s BRUTAL towards the end! Would love to see a video of your thoughts on it when you finish it. Enjoy!

  18. Back In The Day Gamer on June 29, 2020 at 7:48 pm

U didn’t pick up GI Joe!? I like Iron Tank once you get used to the controls. Looks like you missed out on some Famicom titles.

  19. Retro Island Gaming on June 29, 2020 at 7:50 pm

Nice prices on those games. Metal Warriors for $170! I mean, still don’t pay that, but that’s good haha. Yuck, I spotted a whole foods market paperbag. I need a vacation! I like the fonts you used throughout the video. That’s something I need to learn how to do better in my videos. Good to see Dubious on camera! He’s looking much slimmer. A fan recognized you! You’re more popular than you think 😉

These videos are fun to watch. Makes me sad I don’t have many local gamer friends or game stores around. I wouldn’t be spending money either, but it’s a fun to browse and talk about retro games.

  20. Dad & Lads Gaming on June 29, 2020 at 7:51 pm

I might be visiting Denver next year (from the UK), if I do I’ll have to pay this place a visit. Cheers.

  22. Big Retro Show on June 29, 2020 at 7:54 pm

I love events like this! Everyone is always so cool! Must have felt cool to have gotten recognized. Wish I had my old Castle Greyskull and Snake Mountain. I was a huge He-Man dude too. Of the games you picked up I think my fav is Ikari Warriors! Great vid 🤘🏻

  23. DubiousGamingOnline on June 29, 2020 at 7:55 pm

Wait till you see the holy grails we saw later that day….

  24. Captain Algebra on June 29, 2020 at 7:56 pm

I really need to pick up Super Dodgeball, it looks awesome. If I ever get out to Denver I have to check out this chain.

  25. Technicolor Dojo on June 29, 2020 at 7:59 pm

DUDE! I had one of those he-man castles too, wasn’t it two sided? man, forgot all about that thing. I love super dodgeball too, saw how you learned to dominate it on twitter, spent many days in my late teens on that one. You probably could beat famicom NGIII on your first try.

  26. Albert8044 on June 29, 2020 at 8:01 pm

Wes for Nes shooters, another recommendation I’ll mention is Guerrilla War, a very good gem if you haven’t played it yet.

  27. Dongled on June 29, 2020 at 8:01 pm

Curious if that sharp thing’s disk system works. I bought one off of Jimmy Hapa and the disk drives are infamous for breaking. Freedom Force I’ve always wanted that game but never bit the bullet and bought it. Very cool event.

  28. Robert Van Ghle on June 29, 2020 at 8:15 pm

    Level 7 & CGC Hype!

  29. Slayer768 on June 29, 2020 at 8:18 pm
