finally a great review on this camera. There are so many so called reviews were they do a puppet show with no audio or speaking or specs or pros or cons on the camera. I have a question though using the iPhone as a monitor does it really chew up your battery life running the app? also do you have to run the app all the time? or can you launch the app up pretty quick to see a noise or check on what the camera sees? is it a long time to boot the app and get a view of the camera and what it seeing? "another words is it a hassle to launch the app every time you want to glance at the cameras view?"

I’ve been doing some research on this security company called Armorax. They’re totally cellular and have a Wi-Fi option incase the network experiences downtime. I’m looking for a video monitoring plan and theirs is the cheapest. It’s under $40!

Would not connect to wifi. I know the Spot is only 2.4 wifi. I have 5.0 & 2.4, but no luck & no customer support so far after 2 voicemails & an email. Can you sense my frustration?
it is a crap…strait to the bin….couldn’t be connected despite many hours and helpdesk support….in 2017 we shouldn’t need a helpdesk to setup a camera!!

I keep hearing about this home security company called Armorax these days. Saw their commercial the other day and was impressed, and then a few days later I saw their system at a friend’s house. Great thing about their system is you don’t need a land line or internet connection, it’s 100% celluar
