I like the Digital interface, and the size of the Machine. And also the Smart functions of how it knows if ur ground is connected and which Lead is connected. That’s cool I can dig it…

My cardinal rule when welding aluminum is Us a respirator… It doesn’t take much Aluminum vapor to settle in to the brain and start the Alzheimer’s disease.. even if it doesn’t kick in for many years. F u have aluminum vapor and u breathe it. It ends up settling in the brain. And there’s a high likelihood of Alzheimer’s…

Pushing the welding parameters of the amperage. Can the
millermatic 220 weld larger than ¼ in stainless to 3/8?  This miller is rated at 210 amps ?

  9. Steve Bobo on January 15, 2020 at 6:06 am

Is it a significant factor that these machines don’t have Induction settings/knobs?

  10. Debo89009 on January 15, 2020 at 6:08 am

Want to see a comparison with both the "Everlast" all in one AC/DC and the "ESAB" all in one AC/DC units… Which one is the dollar for dollar best value, With quality, dependability, and price… And list the best points for each and drawbacks for each…

  11. Jay Sheldon on January 15, 2020 at 6:10 am

Welds 1/4 Tig stainless . Will it also do 3/8 stainless wire for Mig?

  14. Δημήτρης Γάτης on January 15, 2020 at 6:12 am

Brother let me ask you a question…
Since you have tested both, tell me if you had only one choice between the one you test in this video and the TransSteel 2200C, which you should buy…

  15. Vivian Pang on January 15, 2020 at 6:13 am

the only thing it needs now is a plasma cutting ability

  16. joe carey on January 15, 2020 at 6:13 am

HEY Andrew could you compare the miller 220 ac/dc to the miller Syncrowave 210 TIG MIG Spoolmate 150 Package?

  21. Peter McDade on January 15, 2020 at 6:21 am

Why didn’t you do a plate cupon instead of running flat beads?

  22. ralfman5 on January 15, 2020 at 6:22 am

Hey, what happened to the Millermatic 255 video??

  23. Joeak74 on January 15, 2020 at 6:23 am

That’s a nice piece of gear! I wonder if Miller copied the Harbor Freight Vulcan OmniPro 220, because it looks exactly like it except for blue paint. What type of high frequency arc start does it have, a capacitor dump, or true spark gap generator?Very nice. Go Miller

  24. Prakash welding# on January 15, 2020 at 6:24 am

This product shipped in India sir

  25. Warren Fipp on January 15, 2020 at 6:24 am

do you have to worry about any electronic gear nearby frying if you use the high frequency settings?

  26. Herbert Moore on January 15, 2020 at 6:25 am

Will a miller bobcat 250 run this machine?

  27. tomahawk 76 on January 15, 2020 at 6:27 am

This all in 1 machines are taking the fun out of learning, I’m glad I taught myself to weld because of the sense of accomplishment you get, this feels like cheating your way to learn

  28. m symko on January 15, 2020 at 6:33 am

Will it fit a full size spool of wire?

  29. kickgalaxy on January 15, 2020 at 6:34 am

Compare it to the new esab rebel
    Ac/dc

  30. Sunrayman123 on January 15, 2020 at 6:38 am

  31. Antonio Ortega Quispe on January 15, 2020 at 6:38 am

Hola, entre la Rebel 205 ac/dc y está Miller cual recomiendas?

  32. Caesar Simon on January 15, 2020 at 6:39 am

I bought one of these from you. UPS destroyed it and you guys were basically zero help getting that resolved and now that it’s been resolved with UPS, I can’t get it shipped back. A little service after the sale guys. It’s not all youtube videos to push your sales.

  33. Blakelikesfood on January 15, 2020 at 6:39 am

It’s awesome yet way overpriced, adding $2,000 to the cost of DC machine just to add an ac tig feature..think about that.

$3,000 is the cheapest price for a 220 AC/DC, you could have 2 dedicated machines (one ac, one dc) for far less. A Miller 211MVP can be had for $1,000 shipped all day (yet no tig), however a 211 can do aluminum (spool gun).

If the 220 AC/DC was $2,200 or less maybe…and to think…by provided this machine you get less metal, motors, screens, knobs, case(s), bolts, circuit boards….and still that much more, and get less (opposed to 2 dedicated machines). Kinda funny, you get less….yet pay even more…compounded.

  34. John barnette on January 15, 2020 at 6:39 am

    what about post flow?

  35. Mora_Bogard on January 15, 2020 at 6:43 am

Is the AC feature worth it? Is the Whole machine worth the 3k? Thanks for this video!

  36. Sheep Dog69 on January 15, 2020 at 6:48 am

whats the largest wire spool i can fit in it for the mig? can it fit the 30lb’ers?

  37. Hardhats & Tools on January 15, 2020 at 6:50 am

    nice!! 💪 👷🏻

  38. hans on January 15, 2020 at 6:50 am

I’d like to see this up against the Everlast 252 sti. I walked by this at sema and I regret not looking at it closer.

  39. Blast Off on January 15, 2020 at 6:51 am

Any flex head torches compatible with the 220?

  40. david frank on January 15, 2020 at 6:51 am

I have to say you really have made my day. I have been waiting for this machine that come out since last summer. I’ve been waiting to give it a little time to be out before being one of the first people to buy one. Been there done that I’m not fun. From what you demonstrated this is even better than the Miller representative I had told us at a seminar. Now I can strictly own just Miller. My Lincoln TIG is now retired to the race trailer as soon as I order this. I’m glad to see you tried the 6010 I don’t use that much it’s good to know if needed I don’t have to switch to my other machine.

  41. Hector E. Rodriguez Jr. on January 15, 2020 at 6:53 am

It would be great to compare this to the Multimatic 215. I know this is a stronger machine and can handle AC TIG.. would still be a cool video though, thanks!
