Use a pc it is better for video editing, the software is more flexible, and if you actually want to game choose a pc.

Dude Mac is for amateurs. I spent so long on Mac I forgot how weak and overpriced piece of shit Macs are. Also Apple is like a modern slavery bullshit company and I went from loving to hating them. FinalCut Pro is also amateur tool as everything Apple is producing. Use DaVinci or Premier or fucking anything on PC just don’t ever buy fucking Mac.

Hackintosh is the way to go. You can macOS, equal/better performance AND pay only a fraction of the cost. I’m upgrading from a 2013 15" MBP to a 16" MBP this year, but I’m gonna get back into PC building which I haven’t done in almost 2 decades, and build a Ryzen Hackintosh.

iMac Pro will edit 8k, give that a try. Give it some ram and external ssd’s

Not for nothing, but it’s defiantly easier to learn premiere because there’s a search bar in the "Help" tab. No way to search on PC. I went from Mac to PC for gaming, and I’m so glad I learned on mac.
Apple already lost the pro market. I can’t stop using my MacBook Pro, but in the end of the day my Ryzen PC with RTX graphic card just get the job done.

Most people have a hard time letting go of their Mac because they have an iPhone lol
I’m looking to get a new pc for editing and leveling up my skills in premiere and after effects etc… Me and computers don’t get along, people (mostly nonscientists) have actually said my body has some sort of magnetic thing (I’m like the lamest magneto ever) that makes things always malfunction. Airdrop seems to bipass my super powers so that’s why I was pretty set on a Mac.

IMO, Final Cut Pro is the best editing software but it’s just not worth the price, it’s way too expensive and overpriced for the specs so PC for me

I find it weird how hung up people get over airdrop. You can set up a wireless SMB file share between an iPhone or iPad and a p.c. in less than 5 minutes. And no, not a hater, I like my iPad Pro, and I have an old MacBook. But no more Macs going forward. Apple rules on the mobile front but they are over on the computer front, at least for people on ordinary budgets.
