I’m not fucking kidding, in 2020 this is the content I’m fucking here for. I’m legitimately totally into mundane shit like ranking household appliances.
This world sucks man its nice to appreciate simple things, like household appliances and bullshitting in a memey video.

As a person who absolutely agrees that I would rather have a stove than a microwave, I think egg really undervalues the microwave. It’s way easier and better to do a lot of things in the microwave even when it comes to proper home cooking. There is no reason to ever boil broccoli on the stove when you can throw a casserole dish with an inch of water and the broccoli into the microwave, and it comes out exactly the same in a quarter of the time. Not to mention, heating leftovers, melting/softening butter or chocolate, heating water or milk for tea or coco, and you can get some pretty good, precooked (not frozen) and fresh meals at most large grocery stores nowadays that take two minutes in the microwave to make a decent healthy meal.
Someone needs to explain to me why I spent 40 minutes watching a guy rank things that I look at every day 🤣🤣🤣

Northernlion clearly showing his incompetence in using a ceiling fan . Yes, you can make it spin different directions depending on whether it’s summer or winter and you want hot air or cool air to circulate in the center of the room

PSA. Do not leave cooked rice out for hours. Rice under 140 degrees for hours will become contaminated with unhealthy bacteria and will cause food poisoning.
If your rice cooker can actually maintain that heat for that long… You still shouldn’t because it’s a huge waste of money, bad on the heating element… And your rice will be super dry
The microwave is special because of its unique ability to heat things from the inside out. If you don’t want to cook the outside of a food any more than the inside, but you still want that food to be hot, the microwave is the solution. It’s either that or an extremely slow sous vide.
A toaster oven is for reheating food… I mean reheated breaded chicken breast in microwave vs toaster oven? Same thing with pizza … smh poor, dum, uncultured egg..

This list has a portable A/C, but it really needs to include a mini-split A/C. It’s on a whole other level and very useful to have if you don’t have a central air system. Super energy efficient.

broom works quite well in my small apartment full of furniture, vacuum cleaner was really clunky to drag around, some are probably more convenient but the ones i’ve tried seemed to suck.

i use my dryer like 4 times a year… usually its either warm out and ill dry there or its cold out and i like the added humidity by drying inside
