hmmm how economical was this? It seems strange the company wouldn’t find a way to cut waste by doing it themselves or at least selling it for a higher rate.

Can you give me a list of all the materials and tools you used please

  5. Bill Melater on May 5, 2020 at 3:50 pm

Why don’t you melt the gold rather than mix with acid first?

If I was given a chance, I would straight away add aqua regia, to the electronic scrap, dissolve gold and burnout other metal as reddish nitrous dioxide and filter the remaining solution.

This part is located at the hard disk reader’s access point. With the main circuit board It is a signal cable Of the hard disk read head.
I think all of this should be used as a component of more than 50000 hard drives.

  23. Guodlca on May 5, 2020 at 4:20 pm

The procedure looks a bit sloppy, to be honest, throughout. Using 3:1 HCl:HNO3 is wasteful and nitric acid is in excess, wasting time and sodium metabisulfite when you start precipitating. There also seemed to be some undissolved gold pieces when you filtered the dissolved gold solution, you should’ve flushed the sides of the beakers during the reactions.

I like your videos, I’m curious to know how you obtain all the materials?

Precious metal experts are predicting gold to reach $10,000 per Ounce in the future because of the economic collapse caused by Covid-19, i wonder if this will be worth doing in the future with mobile phones

  29. Chris Slingerland on May 5, 2020 at 4:25 pm

Howcome you can’t just melt it once you get it to the gold flake stage? Why do you have to use all the other chemicals?

  30. nerissa miranda on May 5, 2020 at 4:26 pm

  38. Irish Viking on May 5, 2020 at 4:35 pm

I grind Borax to a dust with a coffee grinder then mix it in with the gold powder, you will get a MUCH better result when smelting.

  39. karishma singh on May 5, 2020 at 4:37 pm

For how much time we need to furnace gold dust… Plz tell me

  40. proper Copper on May 5, 2020 at 4:38 pm

I, then found, through experimentation, the best method to discard the hazardous waste I showed everybody how to make who might be too irresponsible to think critically, by the most inexpensive method, by dumping everything down the convenient kitchen drain or community sewer readily available to most homes.😆

  46. Crazy Cat House on May 5, 2020 at 4:40 pm

Why can’t you just put all the chips in a furnace and burn everything but the gold off????

  47. Shizu -chan on May 5, 2020 at 4:41 pm

Kay , this is awesome , but can you really sell it legally ?
