Do we need Phantom power to run this mic?
I have this mic. It’s absolutely terrible! The recording is neither crisp or full. Sounds dull and boomy. So much that no mixing is gonna fix it. I would NOT recommend this mic to anyone
Hello from myself here in the nice West Midlands. I’ve recently bought one of these stunning microphones and just getting round to using it. As for the two switches, which is the best settings to have them set? I mainly use the mic for vocals. One setting makes the input from my voice quieter. Therefore I set it to the louder option (left switch). I change the right switch but I don’t notice any change. Thank you in advance. I’m assuming this mics largely for recording.
I was under the impression the original X1 also had a large diaphragm capsule?

The mic is ok for the price bundle remember 300 mic with bundle is good price don’t think is next lever like avatone pro c12 because this mic is $600 yes is the best but for 300 bundles is good for recording good music probably you need good preamp ok you need star you studio star with this bundle so you can send to my for tried in my studio ✌🔥
