Wow. I’m the opposite. Keurig Coffee Pot Vitamix Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer Paper towels etc…microwave not to mention spoon rests canisters fruit bowl . wow its a lot huh?
Mine is real bootleg mama I’ve had my hand mixer since I was in high school ( yes you read that right lol) when I worked for Walmart for 2.00 in the blue light special lol! I love your kitchen I wish I had more draw space XOXOO
Girrrl you are goals! I loved this so much, thank you. One of my favorite pastimes is organizing things. I have a tip for anyone who wants to store there toaster without getting crumbs everywhere, is storing inside a dishpan from the dollar store. Loved your video so much.
I’m totally the same with small appliance – I take out my tea kettle everyday sometimes twice and I still love to put it away each time. I had to pause and show Brian the supplement drawer. I think he was blown away. Now it’s on the dream kitchen wish list, lol.

Thank you! I own so many electronic appliances and even with lots of countertops and daily use it’s WAY too cluttered to leave out.
2 Instant Pots, VitaMix with accessories, Juicer, hand blender, Coffeemaker, toaster….most used daily. (Go figure)
The biggest drawers are stuffed with glass storage containers at the moment. This is a process…you’ve mastered your kitchen and it appears WONDERFUL to me.
You’re the bomb, Kim! Love this! I’ve never kept a lot on my kitchen counter tops, and I recently made the decision to eliminate the microwave and toaster oven from our kitchen too; b/c, space is such a premium in a small rental apartment. I live with a VERY organizationally challenged person; so, the other benefit of having completely clear counter tops is I tell my roomie, "When you’re finished in the kitchen, if you look behind you and there’s ANYTHING left on the counter top, then you know that’s not where it belongs." No guesswork and easy to spot! LOL! I encourage him to clean-up his crumbs too; but, I’ve never been successful with that endeavor; so, clear counter tops makes it super easy for me to wipe them clean and sanitize them regularly. We us a French press and tea kettle to make coffee every morning, and both are removed from the stove when finished, as well. It’s just so much easier to have everything clutter free, and also, less of a fire risk as well. We’ve found we also tend to cook more at home, when we readily have prep space available without having to expend the effort of moving stuff around all the time.

I am interested in the "lazy susan" gadget you have in your lower corner cabinet. The one that has two shelves that are kidney shaped and they swing out so you can add appliances. I love clear counters! Relaxing and less stressful to have less clutter in general. I’m always looking for ways to clear and put away stuff in the kitchen and the Husband is always sneaking things back out! 😂 What do u do with ur dishes? We have a dishwasher, but also have a drainer for big things, odds and ends that get a quick wash, so that makes things look very cluttered 😒 Thanks for sharing ur ideas. I have sewn my own reusable coffee filters. I used a paper one for measure and a thin cotton fabric. Just empty it after use, rinse it and leave to dry. Once in a while it goes in the washer with my clothes. Easy, sustainable and, well, frugal 🙂

Thank you for this video. I have a small kitchen and extremely limited counter space. I finally took out my small kitchen table and purchased a buffet at a resale store. I use that for additional storage. I also keep my Keurig on it. (My dining room is 6 steps away from my kitchen so it is no big deal to eat there. My home is very casual, cottage-like and nothing is formal – dining and living rooms are one big space.) I wanted a Kitchen aide for YEARS, but could not justify the cost. I finally purchased one at a yard sale for $90 several years ago. It is probably 30 years old and works perfectly. However! It is in a lower cabinet and a pain to lift in and how. I hardly every use it, instead using my hand mixer. So, I might be selling it at my next yard sale. I do keep my most used spoons, etc., that I used for cooking in a container by my stove and, of course, I have a container of doggie treats on my counter as well. On my buffet, which I chalk painted, I have my Keurig, an antique kitchen scale and a cute little lamp. I also purchased a small kitchen island on wheels, which I chalk painted to match the buffet. It holds my pots and pans. On top of it I keep a bowl with seasonal fruit. Despite being so small and hardly any counter space, I cooked dinners for 10-12 people. It’s all in the organization!
