Just bought straight talk LG
Journey at Wal-Mart. NOT WORTH $50. IT IS JUNK! So sorry I bought it. Received an LG free phone from Cricket that was better than this. And it took half a day to get straight talk customer service to hook me up. Lots of cash & time – thrown away. Was with straight talk for years previously, so I had no idea I was screwing up.
Sad. Angry. Once I get free of straight talk, I WILL NEVER RETURN!
You said you pay for the the $45 plan but then later on you said paid over $50, you lost me there. How much data do you get with the $55 plan?
Horrible signal, even in the city. Unlimited is a lie (it throttles at 5Gb). Service is near nonexistent. Spend a little more, for Boost. It’s bad, but not nearly as bad as, Straight Talk.
Edit: Rewards must be an inside joke because, they won’t redeem them.
When activating a Walmart phone card, a scammer came on and asked for credit card number.

I had Straight talk for many years and I loved it but where I live there is no cell service so I had to switch to metro pcs cause their phones have wifi calling. How does the $30/month flip phone plan compare to Total Wireless $25/mo. flip phone plan? That’s what I’d like to know. (for a relative). They both have the same Alcatel model phone, which seems decent esp w the FM radio.

Sorry but Wal-Mart’s MyFamilyMobile is only $49 for unlimited plus 10gb of hotspot on the T-Mobile network. Also when you add a line it’s only $25 more on top of that. 2 lines for $75. Can’t beat that.

Its definitely NOT worth it. With the Unlimited Data plan you get 60gb of slow non-prioritized "high"speed after which you get even slower speeds about 1X on average. I would say they have good devices but they alter the system file which in the end takes up damn near 10GB ive cracked open the root files of my last device to see why my 16GB POS only had 7GB free when it should have more like 12 to 13GB free. I have also only ever gotten spam text through StraightTalk too and at all hours. I also used to have hotspot with the unlimited plan too but not anymore, they changed it to a cap of 10GB. I have also never ever been able to stream in anything higher than 240p without having to buffer every 15seconds (not an exaggeration) and definitly not DVD quality.
After doing some shopping around i believe Visible by VZW is the best. because it VZW they use their own towers(nodes) which gives Visible more priority on that node this means they dont have to piggyback like ShitTalk does.
How do u pay ur bill plus paying off the phone how does that work?
I bought a refill card at waltmart and wasn’t scan properly (i was told) so it didnt work, waltmart wouldn’t give me another card or a refund straight talk wouldn’t do anything either so i was out $45 plus tax ,Nobody takes responsibility when they screw up, we’ll switch to a real company not that their any better.
I’ve been using straight talk for many years with no problems with service. Customer service can be hard to understand with foreign accents but other than that they have been great too. Awesome service and you can bring your own phone.

10yr customer and stopped using them because they scammed me. I returned a $350 phone for warranty and they returned a $40 phone and said that’s what I sent them. My phone was only 6 days old. And don’t even try to explain to those India customer service. Done !!!

I bought this plan today but I must warn you that customer service sucks. It took 3 hours to activate because I was put on hold 3 times and 3 times they dropped my call. The people are from India and you will NOT be able to understand them. Great price but the worst service EVER!

Is it just me or does anyone else have problems trying to get their data and minutes to actually work. Their was one time I had to use someone else’s phone to send the data to my phone from theirs. Then a few days later it just stopped working even though it said I still had data
My phone on ST sucks I have betwee a tiny speck to 3 bars on avg. Data is even worse. Ican barely play pokemo go. Havent even trie streaming. And I am using the 45$/ 25Gb plan card.
