so… is this basicly Google Stadia?
Watching this after Microsoft flight simulator
This is the soln imho
Shadow fucking rocks
Not going to happen, right along the lines of the Fat Wonderwoman stupidity. Part of gaming is building our rigs, and if internet is down I can still game. I don’t, and won’t, use the subscription based plan of Microsoft Office either, Open Office works just as well.
Gamers who build their rigs are the rebels, we go our own way, and we mod our games. Sorry Shadow doesn’t have a box big enough to contain us.
Shadow has VR support now in 2020.
I honestly dont trust anything that is running on cloud
Love how linus plays games like me.. 5 mins and then turns it off
It’s 15 dollars a month. (13 pounds)
just to let you know code gives $5 off not 10
I don’t trust their device measuring their own product latency.
Why is he so animated? Its tech bro, not Barneys Play House.
VR headsets: Am I a joke to you?
thats cool
me:ima check the price
price:1000000 with discount of idk 50% 500.000 buks
me : HOLY SHIT Tats expencive
oof
its now 11.99 a month
R.I.P modding support
this video didnt age well lol
Seems like it didn’t go too great for them ’cause I’m only hearing about it now.
I dont understand currently they have a preorder thing on their website? But this videos 2 years old? Have they upgraded their service to a new thing or is their some kind of wait because their so popular?
Bought it waiting till december 2020 for my shadow pc
When the Shadow Ghost itself is faster than your computer
Shadow tech is really good you should test it who wants it voucher: MARAMQKI
The Gaming PCs Days have, apparently, been numbered since 1990s :p
this failed as bad as stadia
For Africa Angola wont work, Optical fiber link capacity o 6Mbps/2Mbps, and capacity upgrades are very expensive….so will not work. Playing Warface sometimes i get bad ping….imagine now that shadow box…..
Is the internet really gigabit each way?
poor google stadia… you tried and failed
It’s gotta way better I’ve heard. And it’s a lot cheaper at $11.99 a month. It’s also available everywhere in the US, just some states it isn’t as good because of the terrain and uncontrollable stuff like that
This is amazing!
can we PLEASE quit with the fucking subscription shit? I get it. it’s profitable, but oh so SO shitty.
6:27 LOL!
Future: laughs in 60k and 1000hz OLedecc vr displays with ready player one level graphics and immersion
The days of bad internet aren’t numbert yet
im watching this on my shadow boost…
Linus should I get a shadow as my first PC?
Best thing about this is no longer having to deal with a hot room in the summer while gaming.
Hmmm that’s all well and good till you have people not able to have fast enough internet without data caps(cough Satellite). Killing off Personal Gaming computers? No… Maybe when SpaceX activates their new satellite internet we can ALL do this.
Forgot to mention you will now have total cost of monthly cloud gaming service, game specific costs per month or year and unlimited high speed internet service. In the long run you will spend much more money doing cloud gaming over having personal gaming computers.
This looks great for working really
I don’t really understand how "Numbered" works? I’m guessing they’re in the lower 4 digits numbers
Sounds promising even more for 2018 but it’s now 2020 and it is in PRE-ORDER What happened? The Gaming PC been lobbying to delay that from happening??
They didn’ t have much traction at all if this video is the only time i’ve heard of this service….
I aint ever trading my rig for this
I like this….. Although user better keep their own latency as low as possible through monitor, and best possible isp service for their area, and keep input lag as low as possible as well.
I was getting an account to test, but the access will be available, if I sign today October 10th 2020, only in January 2021. #forgetaboutit
Rent lease gaming obsolete tech compatible issues quick upgrades to everything network problems downtime no thanks vs standalone owned and controlled upgrades besides security risks breaches.
Pretty soon all our hardware will be on the cloud and we’ll just need a screen and peripherals 😂
Heh. A friend just pointed out this video to me and …. wow. The description probably should have said "Thanks to Shadow for propagandizing this video". I’m so sick and tired of hearing about how streaming gaming services are going to take over when we still have companies like Comcast who love their monthly bandwidth caps *and* we still don’t have ubiquitous Internet access all over the earth that can handle latency speeds as needed for streaming game services. Having this kind of gaming accessible for EVERYONE is a pipe dream that is unlikely to happen in our lifetimes, not because the technology doesn’t exist but because the infrastructure to make it ubiquitous won’t exist for a hell of a long time. Until then, this notion about "the gaming PC is dying" or whatever, which has been erroneously stated every year for over 20 years, is going to continue to be nothing but clickbait with no sense of reality.
Now I have an actual reason for my speedy internet lol event tho I have gaming PC: P
But it’s cool
