Idea: A folding phone that doesn’t fold straight through the middle but instead in such a way that it leaves for a notification strip đ€
How about this concept….
A roll out phone that can roll out in 2 axes. Like two screens overlapped on each other at 90 degrees. Yeah, it would make the screen much thicker and also there is a chance of breaking one of the overlapped screens that would make maintenance a nightmare. But just like the wraparound phone, one could include a much bigger battery. Also, one can not only go from a phone screen to a rectangular tablet scree but, one could also collapse the phone into a small pocket square which takes care of the business of the phones getting bigger. This would also take care of the fact that with this one, one could customise the length and breadth of the screen according to one’s needs and preferenceđđđđ

My favorite size of phones would be somewhere between the Pixel 3XL and the iPhone 11. Then again I have big hands. My parents, who are older, need the larger screen for the ease of reading.

The earperound has only one purpose, to people see the screen meanwhile your using it. I love it! Other people can see a cool display or a video you play while you doing something else, like you and your friends want to see a video so few see the front and few see the back

Dude…. can you imagine if you could take a sliding phone and then put a slider on the y-axis? THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!! You could pull out your phone, turn it into a tablet, and then roll the screen back into the size of a 1in^2 square and put that in your pocket!

a rolling and folding tablet would be amazing. if they could get it to fold out and roll open to fix the ratio, that would answer a lot of problems youve pointed out but also creating a lot of logistical issues
Wrap around displays aren’t that good but displays that bleed over the edges are pretty good
