I did this and I’m off to Barcelona in October ! They didn’t follow our preferred dates at all and we had to pay £97 extra for an extra night and flight. I think it’s more for the thrill of being sent anywhere in the world, but after we found out our hotel and flights we realised we could’ve got it a lot cheaper if we had booked it ourselves :/

I spoke to the same lady 😅 changed my flights for £40 each then saw that the return flight itself only cost £20 on Ryanair’s website

The lady I spoke to on the phone was SO helpful and made sure I got early flights and a good hotel.
She even gave me money off my Glasgow flights.

It sounds like a great deal when you hear £99 or £140 but it’s actually not great. If you were to book yourself it would be cheaper. Europe is actually very cheap to travel around so a flight from London(UK) to Berlin from 10th jan until 12Jan would be around £30 return. And depending on your preference you can get accommodation from as low as €20 per person per night. So could easily save around £50 each.
I really think some people commenting on this video are forgetting how small this snippet of a video is in the entire process. WE WERE ON THE PHONE FOR 90 MINUTES! I feel like we are completely justified to get angry and annoyed when we had to repeat ourselves for over an hour. Weekender breaks were also trying to mug us off by not following their own guidelines and contract. Hope you’re having a nice day and just remember you’ve only seen a small section of the whole video 🙂

Highly recommend Weekender Breaks via Wowcher for even the planned holidays! My boyfriend and I last year did Berlin-Prague a week before christmas for 4 days. Hotels, flights and train transfer included for about £200 each. Berlin Christmas markets are incredible! We were first told we would have a choice of hotel for each destination – we didn’t in the end, but they were still pretty decent 3* hotels either central or 15 minutes away from central. I’m thinking of doing the mystery holiday as a Christmas present for my mum 🙂 The only downside was again like this, we did pay about £60 each extra for better flights. overall worth it though considering the amount we paid for the actual break itself.

I went to Venice in January and it was beautiful! Much better than summer because it gets smelly and it’s difficult to explore when it’s so hot

I booked, got Venice for the date I wanted in feb for 5 days but to fly more local we had to pay £65pp. Spent about 3/4 hours on the phone getting passed to a million people because they didn’t understand my questions. Eventually paid and it’s sorted to now be told they will be in contact in 1 week to confirm payment and holiday😴😴 good idea but would defo help to have people who can talk English fluently!

I had a similar experience with groupon! I booked a holiday to Barcelona for like £200 for four nights three days and then when they rang it was all extra costs for times that really you should be given anyway. Who wants to fly and get there at night and then fly home early!? I honestly think it needs more regulation cause bitches be bein ripped off left right and centre (it’s me I’m bitches😂). hi so her customer service was shocking but i’ve worked in a call centre for 3 years and am constantly receiving training for my job
it’s our job to help u and some companies are super strict on the information you give out and with mind sets saying that we don’t know what we’re doing – it’s a little hurtful cos i’ve had a lot of stick for working in a call centre cos it’s so stereotyped

I worked in a call centre for 8 years and I didn’t stick to a script, because it’s a bore and just frustrates customers. Some of these calls centres employ some stupid people and usually are outside of the uk. I understand how frustrating it can be! Xx
