Wait a minute! There’s an arcade in Greenville? I do miss going to them when I was a lot younger! Next year my wife and I might make this convention a weekend event. Have you figured out what that arcade was called?

Im from Greenville, SC but now I live in Oconee, SC I wanted to go to SEGE but my husband didn’t want to I would have loved to meet you and let you know that here in Seneca,SC we have two amazing video game stores that no one in Greenville yet knows about that I think if you have a chance to come next year you should check out they are Play Nest and Computers Plus

Here in ny we have 8 bit con it wasn’t my fave thing I like our locale kinda Comic-Con better but I got some supper Awsome suveners from 8 bit con

I’ve been to Pax East before but I really would like to go to these Retro events. It looks like so much fun and I know I would love this. So much nostalgia and fun to have plus meeting some great people and talkin to them about games and life. Thanks for sharing!
It’s loads and loads of crap on tables and people trying to sell it to you. The real reason to go is to meet people with the same hobby.
The best part was seeing all the old systems, something you don’t see everyday. Second best was seeing the arcade, which bought back many memories of playing on them when I was younger.

200 lbs for a small CRT tv? More like 30-40.
New subscriber. First day of building my collection. Was having no luck at any of the big thrift stores so decided to go in a tiny thrift store I’ve never been in. Bought 20 Xbox and Playstation games for $2 a piece, mainly stuff worth between $10 to $15 a piece. Did like Rick said and chatted up an older guy stocking. Turns out he has a few more boxes of games at his house he is going to bring in for me to buy for $2 a piece! Great advice Rick!
What advice do you for someone who is flying out of state to attend one if these and want to buy big box stuff? Use UPS to ship it back?
