Why not just get the permit? They waived the fees. Minus the fingerprint fee. Cost me $12.95 and now have a permit.

Thanks for the update, Jared. Typical of the Indiana republicans to sit on things and not act in a timely manner. Frustrating to say the least!

    What a bunch of BS…!!!
They keep finding ways to stall this Law…!
Indiana DO NOT ALLOW HOLCOMB TO DISMISS THIS BILL ONCE AGAIN…!
We need to send him a message stating that we do not care if he is intimidated
and/or afraid of our law enforcement, we are not and will not allow ourselves to
be intimidated by any one of them ever…!!!
The superintendent gave a ridiculous reason for not passing this Bill…
He stated that if this Bill passed then law enforcement would not be able to tell
who was carrying and who was not during a traffic stop…
Why was this a ridiculous excuse…?
Because, once the Bill is passed into law then they can just assume that everyone
    is carrying, problem solved…!
DO NOT LET UP ON HIM…!
REMIND HIM THAT IF HE EVER INTENDS ON RUNNING FOR REELECTION AGAIN,
HE HAD BETTER PASS THIS BILL THIS TIME OR WE ARE DONE WITH HIS LYING
    AND TRAITOROUS ASS…!
DO NOT FORGET THE ILLEGAL AND UNCONSTITUTIONAL RED FLAG LAW HE
CHAMPIONED AND PASSED HERE IN OUR STATE AFTER TELLING ALL OF US,(ME
INCLUDED), THAT HE WAS PRO-2ND AMENDMENT AND PRO-CONSTITUTION…!!!

Its not going to happen. I keep saying this, have for a long time.

  32. Moof 02 on March 16, 2022 at 3:55 pm

You would want to believe he would sign this already. Holcombs wife is a certified instructor. Taken from her bio:
"particularly enjoys sharing her passion for shooting sports and personal protection with other women. Earning her pistol instructor certification in 2015, she has led training classes throughout the state, often partnering with the Indiana National Guard and members of law enforcement."

  33. maverick man on March 16, 2022 at 3:55 pm

why does it have to be so hard , here in Georgia i think the law makers have their heads up their ass house and senate have both passed their own bills and they both just sit this is crazy

  34. ElTejon47901 on March 16, 2022 at 3:57 pm

There was no pause. House signs, Senate signs, AG reviews, THEN to Gov.

  35. Awesomesauce on March 16, 2022 at 3:58 pm

    Drain the government swamp

  36. Charlie Mike on March 16, 2022 at 3:59 pm

Blow that governors phone up call call and keep calling until they get sick of it

  37. Scot Stewart on March 16, 2022 at 4:00 pm

Thank you for the update been trying to follow this quickly and fast as we can if we have to we will start calling the governor

  38. Roman on March 16, 2022 at 4:01 pm

    Unfortunately, Holcomb is a RINO.

  39. James haynes on March 16, 2022 at 4:03 pm

This will be such an important win for getting back to constitutional freedom. I’m hoping the governor doesn’t fold under the pressure of law enforcement.

The Second Amendment specifically says the right to keep and bear arms.

I really hope he does the right thing and signs it into law. This is how it should have been from the start

  40. Jonathan Teumer on March 16, 2022 at 4:04 pm

Holcomb is a snake. This man is a waste of time. Should have Rainwater or any Libertarian honestly. The republicans are worthless. I would like to know what kinda BS is being passed in this bill besides the constitutional carry. I know it has something to do with drugs… The war on drugs is a lost cause and anti-liberty at its core, so hopefully its nothing making that issue worse.

  41. MOTORCYCLES ANDGUNS on March 16, 2022 at 4:04 pm

If it’s not signed, Does it automatically become law?

  42. Oddball Gaming on March 16, 2022 at 4:05 pm

So the 22nd is the deadline and I didnt know there was opt 3. That will make Indiana the 24th state to go constitutional carry

  43. Ringo Ciccone on March 16, 2022 at 4:06 pm

You children of today are so out of it uneducated ….. 200 years ago we became a CONSTITUTIONAL Republic therefore CONSTITUTIONAL carry is the supreme law of the entire land your communist Mayors and communist governors and socialist citizens wanting to vote on a bill and pass it as a law is redundant in fact it’s quite ignorant it shows you are like the government says a very stupid people you’ve already been a constitutional republic for a little over 200 years therefore the supreme law of the land has already stated in the entire nation it’s CONSTITUTIONAL carry! You’re being played and falling into their trap you’re starting from a communist standpoint and trying to go back 200 years to become a constitutional carry Republic we’ve already crossed this bridge just over 200 years ago people use that brain grow become educated unite and stand up for your rights you’ve already got!

  44. Michael Slisher on March 16, 2022 at 4:08 pm

Hoping we can get to 26 states this year with Constitutional Carry. It will be a great sound bite when more than half of the states are CC states.

  45. Perry Stallings on March 16, 2022 at 4:09 pm

    Sounds win win situation.
