Love this video. I practically live in thrift shops (before Covid) and saw some real treasures here.
Leaving behind os good, but when it gets thrown away anyway when location gets taken down. And it was worth stuff. Then that is kinda of a waste

Saw an old floppy disk pc of some kind on a shelf when you were passing by. That toaster wallpaper is just hilarious on how pristine it was.
I really hope some of the stuff was salvaged before demolishment occurred

It’s probably all gone by now . A empty thrift store 🏬.
I never steal but when I see one of those things it’ll be gone for sure:
– 100% wool blankets, better yet hand woven
– stainless steel, brass, copper and cast iron pots, pans etc
– all sorts of hand tools, screwdrivers, axes, saws and more or less quality steel knives
– sleeping bags
– rain coats
I’m an outdoors man and have a shack in the woods which I want to make livable. The things I listed will serve you your whole life and most of them can even be passed to your grand children.

This abandoned thrift store reminds me of an old saying. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. I’ve found many useful things in thrift stores, and being on a fixed income, thrift stores have been a big help.

I never understood why businesses left their computers on all the time. Even modern ones are running old versions of windows so they cant be worried about updates making the system unstable.
It looked like most of what was in there was in pretty good shape; was it cleared out before the school/store was demolished?
