Aerial video of the tornado that moved thru parts of Elgin, TX. The tornado did quite a bit of damage including destroying a few mobiles homes and heavily damaging other homes. Video via drone follows right behind the tornado as it does the damage. At least one person was injured and taken to the hospital.
That poor kid and his truck. lol
Awe and heartbreak in equal measure. We are so used to seeing fully formed solid tornadoes it’s a real surprise to see how devastating a near invisible nascent twister can be. Incredible footage.
this is incredible
Lord have Mercy!
That’s a weak one
That person in that red Chevy truck 🌪
Not the cotton candy house! 🤣
Dayyyyuuummmm
Imagine losing your home to WIND!!! What is your home made of STAW???
Just scary how small the tornado looks and how effortless it rips the white house in seconds to dust @ 1:40.
Mother Nature seems kinda mad
how abot NOT creeping on the injured person. family is probaly already stress about house and injurded family, but now they have a drone buzzing around. give privacy and respect.
1:54 exact moment some dumb hick’s rolling sh!tbox gets destroyed by that twister
2:24 that house stood it ground
What a stunning video! I know others have probably said something similar. But I am gob smacked as to the movement of the tornado. You always hear how sometimes tornadoes "jump" or don’t go in a straight line. I can’t tell you how many times I was watching, and thinking "It’s going that way". And not a second later, it takes a left or a right hand turn. Amazing.
Was there no plywood on that roof? The sheet metal was obvious but I didn’t see any 4×8 sheets of plywood go with
This is why homes there cost 5 bucks. But here in California with an ocean view, 5 million for a shack that was built in the 70s.
: NOT FOR BROADCAST : OH REALLY? THEN KEEP IT ON YOUR HARD DRIVE.
I used to live there. Not much there
these tornado’s seem to like aiming for houses & farmland, hmmm so odd.
Build your homes out of brick people
aren those houses too flimsy?
houses are made of the worst quality possible in the USA¿¿even smaller trees resisted better
It’s funny how the footage @ 2:20 doesn’t look that strong, but ripped the roof off a house.
This is probably the best example of why people need to take tornado warnings MUCH more seriously. You cannot always "see" a physical tornado, the vortex is much like a vacuum that just sucks on your siding and roof until it and everything else attached to it rips up into the sky. Tornadoes are not very linear at any stage of their formation or life.
This is the beginning of drone tornado era
HA MY HOUSE IS BEING DESTROYED BY A TORNADO TAKE COVER NOW REEEEEEEEEEREEEEEEEREEEEE AAAAAAAAAH FROM THE NATIONAL WEATHER SURVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ram ranch
This is why you don’t live in a trailer where severe weather is possible.
absolutely stunning but sad for the people.
Lives disassembled in seconds
I didn’t see jack shit
@2:15 when that roof goes and the pink insulation looks like a candyfloss machine spewing 😨
Shouldn’t be posting people being loaded into ambulances. Would you want to be broadcast all over the Internet fked up and hurt?
TLDW: Don’t live in a trailer home in TX
1:11 that horse came out of a safe spot and ran right into the tornado. LOL.
wow see how the tornado turned pink when it hit thge home? thats the insulation being sucked out
Holy sh!ts!
Wow that’s a powerful drone to cause that much damage
I remember getting the warning and knew shit was gonna hit the fan
What kind of drone/camera-rig was used to film this? Even from a distance i imagine the winds were still strong, so im amazed how steady the footage is.
This is why you have to be careful putting the hair dryer on high.
Mage casts level 1 wind spell
Still never understood how people come back from this.
If my house got destroyed I would probably just jump in front of a truck
That shot of the insulation being sucked out of the roof of that two story home is so interesting.
Where in the hell is Bill Harding and Dr. Jo Harding when yuh need’em!?
Funny how any bullshit tree , bush or plant was 100x stronger than the houses
lol cool
Texas weather is horrible.
1:36 that transformer blowing was real crazy to watch. A lot of times in storms, even when there’s no lightning, you’ll see bright colorful flashes and I’ve always heard they’re often transformers blowing but I’ve never seen it like this before
