i don’t have netflix, but i do own around about maybe… 300 dvds? i don’t know, the last time i was curious enough and bored enough to count them was like 10 or 11 years ago and back then i had like 100. but i like owning physical dvds because if i get netflix and throw away all my dvds then i have to pay the thing every month and if i can’t pay that then im screwed. i don’t care if you disagree with me.

10: Maybe they will turn into contact lenses or something like that.

9: Maybe but looks expesnive, I could definitely see that by 2035, Im still keeping my glasses even if they don’t need to function anymore, I look better with them.

8: I think there will always be somewhat of a demand for local storage for the next few decades. Maybe it will get niche though.

7: Who still uses cheap digital cameras? I literally haven’t seen one in years, even my baby boomer parents have switched to their phones. I though those were already dead.

6: Netflix’s selection is pretty bad, I do see DVD’s dying by 2030 though.

    5: Probably

4: Maybe, voice command or smartphones controls will probably be the norm, that technolodgy already exists.

3: I don’t see Credit Cards being dead in 10 years, 20 years, maybe.

2: I think Xbox and PlayStation will stick around even if they do go cloud based just due to brand reconition, that said, I could see Xbox and PlayStation being irrelevant in 20 years if games can stream to any device and if PlayStation and Xbox no longer have good exclusives.

1: No gas cars by 2025? LOL! Maybe 2040 but not 2025. I know electric and hydrogen have come a long way but many people still just like gas cars. I don’t see self drving being that common by 2026. Even if every new car was self driving (which I’m sure that some cheaper cars won’t be) there will still be tons of older cars driving around, I don’t see more miles being driven by driverless cars by 2026, that will probably be true by 2040 though. The trucking industry will also love self driving vehicles. I could see some people who don’t care about cars using self driving cabs but many people will still probably want to own their own car, I always want to own my own car.

I just want to point this out but wireless charging isn’t a new concept as Nikola Tesla was developing technology that would deliver power to homes through the air for free

The problem with wireless chargers is that people need to be able to put their phones down for long enough to actually let them charge 😂😂

  45. Olivia Studios on December 28, 2018 at 2:48 am

Great I have to end my life in 5 years
    Because without a phone….
    What the hell is life?

  46. Leslie Barker on December 28, 2018 at 2:50 am

Driverless cars are a joke. Get a few drinks in one and see what happens. I’d say most of these will still be around in 40 years. Not everyone is rich in fact most of us are pretty poor.

  50. Soukenmaru FWT on December 28, 2018 at 2:55 am

Here in mexico we still own outdated technology and most of the time new technologies are very expensive and the average person can barely afford older technology devices let alone newer ones
