Don’t EVER buy an Asus, for some reason I bought a second one and it’s one problem after another, both the old one and the new one, connectivity failures are a constant, the chassis is absolute trash, you’ll be having it repaired every year, especially the hinges….just an unceasing annoyance

  5. Tannis Power on November 17, 2020 at 8:48 pm

Battery life? I would have loved to have heard that per each laptop.

Honestly the only thing I need performance for is video editing. I don’t play games or do anything like that. My current computers playback speed for video (especially 4K is incredibly slow). I was hoping to spend less than $1k but might have to. I don’t care if it’s laptop or desktop, it will pretty much always be plugged in

  8. Udhaya Bala on November 17, 2020 at 8:52 pm

Is the the vivobook used in this video has TN panel?

Some people think that the Mac is expensive, but if you look at it in another way, for the same budget the Mac is worst in the market

I’ll be honest, these laptops are not a great value at all. They all have very bad dedicated graphics or just integrated graphics, i5 or worse, no more than 8gb ram, and 256gb ssds. My Thinkpad P43s is an i7-8565u with quadro p520, 24gb ram and a 1tb ssd for around $1100. I just can’t recommend it because of thermal problems

  14. Neki Stunter on November 17, 2020 at 8:55 pm

I am looking for something with 10th gen core i5, 16 gigs of ram, 512gb ssd and a 16:9 display (under a $1000)
If it’s possible, and anybody has some recommendations, please reply. Thanks

I plan to run an online business , also would like something that can give me good camera quality and video editing ?

  32. SilPhate on November 17, 2020 at 9:15 pm

Btw, if anyone’s planning to buy the i3 version, don’t, Just don’t. It might run well in the beginning but it will age rlly badly, if u wanna get a macbook in that price point, either buy used or get apple refurbished (search about offical apple refurbished products, they’re as good as new with a brand new replaced body, display and battery irrespective of the condition of the earlier condition and a lot of times the products that fot returned in 14 days and come with full warranty)
Or buy an older i5 or i7
