You forget to mention that these prisons are only afforded to the lowest level of security which is usually no more than 900 people throughout the system. No matter your living situation trust me you do not want to lose your soul in that darkness cuz it’s a MF to get it back live your life with integrity honor and focus took me 53 years to learn that.
No point in spending this much of tax money from law abiding citizens on criminals.

You are all forgetting that its the feeling of your freedom being taken from you that is the real punishment. Being in prison is not a good experience for the inmates even if the living conditions are nice. But in this way, the prisoners will not hold a grudge towards the justice system. They will reflect on their mistakes and learn to be better people.
They’re living better than I do as a free person. The jails in America are for prisoners to reoffend because the Judicial System is a huge money maker for the people in charge. They are inhumane. They take pride in the fact that they feed the inmates food not fit for human consumption and that all 3 meals costs less than a dollar a day. Each pod hold 100 people. They refuse to pay inmates for working 7 days a week. It’s not right.
None of these places look that great, prison is prison no matter how you dress it up..
This is outrageous the motel room in I paid for Mississippi does not offer such facilities

Well, I think these prison are gd, but still, you’re caged in. This could also mean no vacations, no shopping etc.
I wonder how long are their prison sentences, maybe a wee bit longer than the normal sentences.
I feel that they make these prison luxurious, so that prisoners don’t break out of jail.
So, think abt it. For a short while, you’ll be like "Oh, I’ll get used to this", then after a long time of being caged in, u feel that u want the freedom. Maybe this’ll make them gd in society in the end.
