For the AD moon shot, it looks incredibly similar to a video shot on a Nikon P900 super zoom. It’s a consumer camera that boasts a 1/2.7 inch sensor like a phone and a 2000mm FF equivalent focal length. Just one problem, there’s absolutely no way a lens of that size and quality could achieve those results. Facebook ads at their finest. (Also, that 1DX MK II seemed to be paired with a Tamron 150-600mm lens)
A year later and this video pops back up for me and I have the super lens now completely forgot about those video and i think he never mentions the lens it’s a 150mm-600mm tamron g2

I honestly hope that smartphone cameras can’t catch up with DSLR’s and film-cameras. I love getting a great shot, and it’s worth it when I carry around a 5kg piece of kit everywhere. Whereas if you can do it on a phone, you won’t get that satisfaction, and also there will be no point in owning a professional camera.
