The trouble here is the patent _fiddling_ about behind the pad @1:18 and the unnatural position of your right hand which is in a claw-shape – nobody holds a small book or a writing pad in that manner. The *impression* appears as pressure being applied from _behind_ the pad. You’re right as to an alternative of a swami for 6 bucks and your own pad – thanks, mate!

    Best magic reviews anywhere, period!

This is great review. I like the pad because of the seemingly impossible way to predict their shape. I have a few buts…1: Unless you’re a cop I can’t think of anyone carrying such a notepad around. 2: Who in the real world uses a grease pencil. The whole thing screams gimmick.

they seem to be out of stock. Are there any other of these type of props to facilitate this?

To be honest this channel is supposed to make me spend less money on magic but I think it makes me spend more! At least it’s good magic

Nice review, Dave. As far as the writing surface goes, would someone’s first name fit? For example Michelle ( it’s clear to me that Joe would work)?
