Hey I just found your channel and am SO GRATEFUL that you cover SO MUCH INFORMATION in each video!! I DESPERATELY want to purchase a prefab home and move into the "country" but since I get disability payments (which aren’t too too bad but nothing great) and have HORRIBLE credit, sadly, so I probably could never get approved:-(
I also have a QUESTION FOR YOU that you may or may not be able to answer: So I was Google satellite looking all over the Northern Texas up into Arkansas and while looking at Arkansas I son TONS AND TONS of lots with really old slabs on them, like the homes were probably torn down because they were a 100 y.o.; anyway, because they are so "dilapidated" does that mean they can’t be used and one would probably have to PAY EXTRA to have it demolished before pouring a new slab or is something like that even "better" to find for a Modular Home? If you could answer that, it would be SO GREAT! THANKS IN ADVANCE! And again, thank you for doing such informative videos on this topic! They’re GREAT!

I had a 432 sq foot building put up earlier this year for $4K including materials and installation (18 foot wide by 24 foot long). And it’s anchored to the cement pad with anchors. Just like these shown here, its a shell so it would need to be finished. I had previously had a cement pad constructed for it to sit on which cost $2200. So instead of buying a house from Amazoid for $35 k plus taxes (mine included the tax), you can do much better for a whole lot less. I’ve got $6200 invested in mine and it can be finished just like any of these. You got to wonder if someone is getting rich on you, here. I even got to choose outside color and color of metal roof and trim. And I didn’t have to build it myself like everyone of these shown on this video. You don’t get a fully built structure…you only get a stack of lumber delivered, which you can get from home depot or your local lumber yard for a fraction of the cost of one of these. Wake up people. Don’t give your hard earned money to the giants.

Not a fan of "tiny homes" but I do think smaller homes between 800 and 1,000 sq ft are an ideal size unless you have a large family.
They are easier to maintain, efficient and keep utility costs reasonable…
What’s the point of having a home without a bathroom? You have to have a toilet at least.

I like the honesty in this video, thank you for it. I am so on the fence about these things for many reasons not being met and at GREAT expense for the square footage. I do love the idea of being mobile if desired.

You can’t really call it a house if it doesn’t have a bathroom and it doesn’t have a kitchen that just makes it basically a bedroom with more windows

I’ve watched these homes go from about 5-10000 to 30-40 with popularity! Defeating the purpose of them!
For 40k you can buy a small mobile home that has 3bdrs and 2 baths and is 1000 sq.ft and you don’t have to crawl around on your knees.If you want a tiny house just buy a dog house,it’s cheaper.
These are just storage sheds with partitions.
Okay what about a bathroom or a kitchen or is this just the equivalent of one bedroom

I think the most practical tiny home that would make someone want to stay in it is closer to the 500 sq ft mark. That’s actually a comfortable size.

Sadly many communities have adopted International Building Codes. Our family had a beautifully made Amish built cabin and delivered to our homestead in the Georgia mountains. We have still not received our CO.
I just subscribe and I love how kind and you think about the people and one of your videos you made some sacrifice to show us some tiny home but that guy was a scammer I would love to live were it is friendly for me because my parents are from Haiti so I was born in brooklyn new york but I want to get away from the city life that i know that is friendly my son will has 2 years to graduate high school I want something for me if you know what i mean that could accept me in these community
