I am wanting make my own HVAC Thermostat; I wish to use power metal–oxide–semiconductor field-effect transistor to switch a load under 1 Amp which is the coils in a contractor / relay ○○○○ I make the assumption I should look for thermistor & "«supply voltage» is a standard 24-v HVAC transformer ( door bell type with no data sheet )

I have a good meter and want the load-side switching transistor to be much over-rated for the load; I plan to use a full-wave bridge which I already have to rectify the 24 vac and am thinking some sort of capacitor to smooth 60hz ripples

  41. NL Republic on August 9, 2020 at 9:14 pm

Considering the cost of the components (bluetooth adapter, voltage regulator, LM386, caps and resistors) go to the store man. A $10 bluetooth speaker at walmart will cost less and sound way better. As a bonus it would have a durable case.
Useless video and certainly NOT a life hack.
