Here’s why the once-popular Discovery show, “American Chopper” officially ended. Although it is true the actual shop “Orange County Choppers” is still open and functioning, the show “American Chopper” has ended. You WON’T believe what happened behind the scenes! The show was set for the 13th season but the last episode “The Last Ride” pretty much sums it up. The show had a good run and we’ll be sad to see them go.

I used to watch this all the time but I’ve never seen what led to the end of it all!
I first saw this series in 05i think? Then was lucky enough to go there to the main ship and the old workshop in 08 to meet the guys. Great times.
Back when American Chopper first aired I used to watch it, but that soon came to pass where I stopped watching it cause I got fed up and pissed off with all the drama and arguments and throwing things when both would have their little temper tantrums… I wanted to see cool bikes being built not 2 grown men throwing hissy fits like two little boys who couldn’t get their own way with their parents… and as for another reboot?…. I’d say NO!… cause I am one who wouldn’t watch it cause I know straight up we wouldn’t be watching a show where cool bikes get built, it would be them two at each others throats yet again over the slightest pettiest things.

I wouldn’t mind a reboot. I love motorcycles and there are not to many shows on TV if any that’s about motorcycle builds. Just as long there is not all that fighting and arguing.

Most of there bikes they built are impractical an are junk . They cared more about the show then there product. Glad to see them sink !

When you have all this negative drama and at the same time you have young people wanting to learn this trade, it turns them away and all you have is a major distraction and a bad example. This is a case of fighting little boys needing to grow up and act like men…
Them bikes look so uncomfortable to ride.

they should continue to build great bikes on their own, help one another when another trusted opinion is needed but do not work together and concentrate on repairing a relationship while there is time, dont make a situation you could regret the rest of your life!
I heard the bikes are sucky. As far as comfort and power.
I never liked the fighting and wished the producers would just focus on the bike building. I’m not even into motorcycles, but I enjoyed the design aspect and the technique of building. I tolerated the fights. Good they’re off the air.
So it was a setup for show or not ?

I have seen every show. It’s a shame it ended this way with so much resentment. I could see the issues from both sides. Fame and fortune really does take hold of people in the wrong way.

Time does not stand still. Before you know it, decades have gone by hating a particular family member for whatever reason. Before you know it, your old, gray, and 60 years old. It’s better to put differences aside, swallow your tongue and make up. Love each other.
We are all here on this planet for only a very brief moment in the grand scheme of things. Space and time will not stand still for anyone, ever. Love one another no matter who you think is right or wrong. Be the bigger person and enjoy what little time we all have left.

Karma.. Sr was an asshole, horrible boss and an abusive father/husband. In that fight that ended Jr and Sr relationship… Jr said you’re going to run this company into the ground. That he didn’t appreciate what the show and workers did for them. Jr was 100% correct.
Beautiful Karma that he ran everything into the ground, had to make OCC into a 5th rate Applebees… and lost all of his money. It was a nice Karma Shit Sandwich.
