hate Apple Pay, Because of limitation I can’t even add all of my cards :/
Hi, Does Google Pay is fast to pay on a web site when the option is available ? I’m looking for the fastest payment possible for an object which was sold out in less than five minutes so I hesitate between Google Pay or Amazon Pay or the automatic write of Chrome.
I’m in Dubai at the moment with my many year old Samsung S8(still working like a champ), and I bought a Google Pixel 5 last year because I was so bored of Samsung. Then I tried to register my card (Dubai bank) in Google Pay and it went like "oops sorry. No can do". I was about to lay my Samsung to rest, but I had to pull him out of the grave and desecrate his corpse, just to be used as a wallet.
In India, we use UPI more than cards. It’s a real-time bank-to-bank payment system with negligible fees.
Samsung pay: "this card doesn’t support it"
Samsung pay+ / Curve : "we couldn’t verify you"
Google pay: Added card with no problems.

Samsung pay was worthless for me, froze the phone, it never accepted my ATM Visa logo cards, I had to add them through my bank , and It only worked once. After that it simply didn’t do anything , except embarrassed me at the cashier. I finally gave up! and uninstalled completely. Now I’m just left with Google Pay.

The funniest thing is when a cashier says Samsung Pay won’t work there and then it does. I don’t think they get that the tech that it uses basically just emulates an actual card.

3 YEARS AFTER THIS VID WAS POSTED AND My bank in the UK (a major High Street bank, the Halifax), STILL does not support Samsung pay. At least, according to the Samsung pay app messages, that say your card issuer does not support Samsung Pay would you like to link curve to Samsung Pay+… , so I’m afraid this is a dud deal in my personal view and I’ll stay with the tried n tested G-Pay. (Google pay).

So my new Prepaid is only supported on Apple and Google Pay, but when I had my Postepay I used it on Samsung Pay and it was really good.

So wait a second let me get this straight because logically her example made no freaking since, she is using the digital wallet because she lost her card rather than order a new card first incase someone finds her card and start using it? Wtf kind of logic is that???

When they first rolled out Samsung Pay, I used it at a department store and they said "Sorry, we don’t accept Apple pay…" I used it anyways and it cleared.. the cashier was like "what!? It went through? "… I told her it’s not Apple, it’s Samsung.

Good to know but the point is that Samsung Pay is being described as having 99% efficacy and I was immensely interested, However, before downloading Samsung Pay (Canada) onto my phone, I started going through the app reviews on the Galaxy Store and the reviews were horrible – it has a 2.5% rating! I suppose I will keep using my GPay for now until the ratings improve.

Apple really needs to get with the times and follow in android’s footsteps on this one. I’ve been using touch id on iphones 8 and lower and it’s so much better then the new face id system, they make you jump through hoops to use apple pay on phones without touch id. It’s ridiculous. Face unlock, then double tap on the side button, are you f’n kidding me? If I can use a piece of plastic to tap and pay, I should be able to do the same on a calculator that costs a mortgage payment. Let’s go apple, enough with the gimmicks.
