Just came back from Austin actually. Such a cool city. Texas in general is pretty great. I’m so disappointed I missed these spots but did get to go to some cool places regardless. Oh well, I guess I gotta go back

Do Fast Travel in other countries. Japan obviously, would love to see Fast Travel recommending geeky places in unlikely countries like India, Taiwan, Belgium etc.
For example, Lambiek in Holland or Lausanne in Switzerland if you want to see the largest collection of comics in Europe; Animate branches in Taipei or Bangkok; Taipei Main Station for all kinds of games including rare Chinese games; Low Yat Plaza in Kuala Lumpur for games & electronics and so on.

Would be really great if these guys could get into the history of the spaces they travel to and the people running these shops. Seriously. There’s so much history in ATX alone. To make me care about the hosts more than the moronic sponsorship spots, how bout interview the everyday heroes, the people keeping gerkdom alive in these places, THEN inject all the personal stories from the host????
