Beats Fit Pro review: Goodnight, AirPods Pro?

Beats Fit Pro review: Goodnight, AirPods Pro?

With nearly all the features of the AirPods Pro, including Apple’s H1 chip and noise canceling, the new $200 Beats Fit Pro have integrated wingtips that keep the buds securely in your ears for sporting activities. They also deliver strong sound and better battery life. How much better are they than Powerbeats Pro? And is there any reason remaining to get the AirPods Pro? CNET’s David Carnoy discusses all that and how the Fit Pro compare to the Beats Studio Buds.

This is amazing new earbuds overall

  2. Sean O'Halloran on November 8, 2021 at 4:54 pm

They seem great in every respect but Beats are usually too heavy on the bass for me. Do they have a way to reduce the bass enough to hear mids and highs nicely? Thanks. Great video!

I bought a $20 pair of Black Web buds at Walmart. I’ve gotten fourteen hours out of them.

Keep spending hundreds on ear buds. And ,keep wondering why you live check-to-check……

It’d be nice if David Carnoy could link the Sennheiser Ear tips he mentioned in the video review.

Edit: As David Carnoy pointed out to me, they are in fact listed in the description of the video. 🤦‍♂️

  17. Jason Aranda on November 8, 2021 at 5:09 pm

  18. Yeayea on November 8, 2021 at 5:15 pm

I like the old beats pro. I just don’t like the shape of these new beats.

  19. Joey N. on November 8, 2021 at 5:15 pm

Damn, that mic quality is a dealbreaker unfortunately. So damn close smh

  20. Dangerous One on November 8, 2021 at 5:18 pm

You know what’s also great about the Powerbeats Pro? Volume buttons. Glad you can configure that into the buttons.

  22. Butter Man on November 8, 2021 at 5:19 pm

What’s the name of the tips you have?

  23. Ajaug Atarip on November 8, 2021 at 5:19 pm

Damn I was waiting for them to customize the tip like the AirPods Pro that little thing sticking out does give me ear fatigue after an hour in a half wearing them

  24. H. M. on November 8, 2021 at 5:19 pm

The call quality was terrible, and that’s a big negative for me. Probably great for music & sports. Thank you so much for posting this.

  25. Jordan Chopra on November 8, 2021 at 5:20 pm

Would you say these are the best for android users?

  26. JerRon Robinson on November 8, 2021 at 5:21 pm

I’ve had my power beats pro over two years. I’ve noticed my battery life beginning to decline. I really want the transparency mode and the noise canceling feature. So I’m making the switch

  30. G Rodriguez on November 8, 2021 at 5:28 pm

Lol I’d never buy another beats product. My Solo3 died just after the warranty, such a stitch up.

  31. Ubiquitous on November 8, 2021 at 5:31 pm

Nothing can beat the powerbeat pro it can stay in your ears firmly and will never fall off even when you do a box jump workouts

  33. Alan Schmitt on November 8, 2021 at 5:33 pm

I had no interest in these until I saw the lavender color. Damn you, Apple!

  34. Gyula on November 8, 2021 at 5:33 pm

Does anyone know, that this earbud equalizes air pressure like the Airpods Pro?

  35. Adam Fraser on November 8, 2021 at 5:34 pm

I’d like to know how the actual buds charging is. Because my power beats pro are great but they are so hard to get to charge in the case.

  36. joseferreira_ms on November 8, 2021 at 5:38 pm

EarPods ABOUT DESIGN…Apple should call the AirPods a “EarDick”

  37. chheangmeng taing on November 8, 2021 at 5:39 pm

Beats fit pro vs beats studio buds which one sound better?

  38. Come Vibe Wit Me on November 8, 2021 at 5:39 pm

Why does reviewers keep saying the Beats Studio Buds don’t have Spatial Audio, when in fact they do.

  39. Anthony Vallejo on November 8, 2021 at 5:41 pm

I much prefer the over the ear 👂 instead of the wing tip.

I love my Powerbeats Pro because of the ear hooks. Recently bought the Beats Studio Buds thinking I’ll use them casually but they stay in so well that now I don’t really even use the Powerbeats Pro. The only thing I miss is the physical volume button. But apparently you can program the button on the Beats Fit Pro to work as your volume button so I may pick up a pair soon.

  46. Kevin Dagostino on November 8, 2021 at 5:48 pm

I wish they would of added MagSafe

  47. Michael Bomar on November 8, 2021 at 5:50 pm

I’d really like some advice from those that already own the Beats Fit Pro. I own the AirPods Pro and the Sony WF-1000XM4 earbuds. IMO the Sony’s have excellent sound and the ANC is top notch. But, these buds become uncomfortable after about 30 minutes and I really miss having hands-free Siri and having my texts announced to me. On the other hand I really like the AirPods Pro except that when I use them with Apple’s ear tips they keep feeling like they’re going to fall out. So I’ve resorted to using the Comply ear tips with them. This works but the Comply tips get expensive after while for what you get out of a pair and they to become uncomfortable after while. I know the Beats Fit Pro won’t measure up to the Sonys when it comes to ANC, but, are the beats on the same level as the AirPods Pro in terms of ANC? I’m seen a lot of reviews saying they are the same and some saying it’s not as good. So I’d like to get the opinions of people that actually own the Beats Fit Pro.

    “good voice calling performance”
7:30 Really? I’m sorry, but these earbuds seem to be straight up trash when it comes to voice calls

  49. Robert Gipe on November 8, 2021 at 5:52 pm

What is the name of the senshiemer tips that you used with the new ear buds you reviewed in this video?
