    Good video! ✌

Lg G7 is good phone but they killed it for me with only a 3000mah battery. It tended to eat thru battery fast for me. That’s reason I wouldn’t get the Moto G7 either because it is only 3000mah. It has a slower processor but for me, I think most phones now a days should have a min of 3500-3800mah.

Umidigi A5 Pro doesn’t work with Hello Mobile or FreedomPop

  4. duncdawg 26 on April 30, 2020 at 6:48 pm

Thank you so much for finally covering an old flagship! It’s been a long time coming between you and Stefon. That’s an awesome deal and great to know about… Shopping old flagships would give your channel a lot more material… Just saying…

I just got a Realme 5 pro but network connectivity sucks on Metro/T-mobile, anything similar spec and price wise that would work better?

  6. deanc2000 on April 30, 2020 at 6:54 pm

Thanks so much for the heads up on the LG G7. I just bought the used Grade B for $150. I hope it’s not so much worse than the Grade A version.

  7. Mohammed Amin on April 30, 2020 at 6:54 pm

Does any of these phines come with wired earphone jack? Not a fan of this ‘trend’ of jackless phones. Thanks.

Also, where’s the e-bay link for the last phone?

  8. Michael hill on April 30, 2020 at 6:55 pm

I thought the A5 pro would be on this list

  9. Jody Carrigan on April 30, 2020 at 6:56 pm

Will any of these unlocked phones be able to use wifi calling, HD voice feature? On verizon.

Would the lg G7 work with Metro by TMobile

  11. Jacoby Wurtz on April 30, 2020 at 7:02 pm

Well I bought the umidigi power but I couldn’t get it working on cdma network. Any idea why

Where I’m from, a 200 dollar phone is considered expensive.

This is great that you did this after I was talking about Verizon compatibility. I’m paying for a line on AT&T but my dad and I have our ups and downs and I know I can get a line on Verizon if I have to so I like to have options right now in a phone. I’ve been looking at the F1 Play though which seems to support Verizon and I’d be interested to know how you think it compares. Blu Vivo XI+ seems to have the right bands for Verizon as well but I think I’m sending this back. Also not a fan of Moto G6 at all even though in some ways it’s better than G7 Play/Power.

Downside to Alexa models is Amazon and Moto will not give you a bootloader unlock code if you’re into that.

  15. Victor Kuo on April 30, 2020 at 7:06 pm

@kevin breeze didnt you do videos saying you prefer the Moto g7 Power and Samsung A20 over the LG Stylo5 but have the Stylo 4 ahead of the G7Power in this video?

  16. Johanna Keorlet on April 30, 2020 at 7:06 pm

Verizon is supposed to go GSM as of 01/01/2020

  17. Kush Muffinz on April 30, 2020 at 7:07 pm

Does anyone know if the Umidigi Power will work for Boost Mobile?

  18. lrwilliamsjr on April 30, 2020 at 7:07 pm

Took your recommendation and picked up the LG G7 ThinQ for $150 (USD) from YY Wireless on ebay. It was listed as 9/10 cosmetically but what arrived looks mint to me — it is cosmetically flawless. Though almost two years old it feels way further ahead of the newer ZTE Blade Max View it replaces; it’s the first flagship phone I’ve ever owned. If there is one caveat to this device its firmware is not Google Play Protection Certified and is incompatible with Netflix and Disney+. Can’t even find them in the app store although Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, and Tubi are available. That’s not a big deal to me but it may be to others — and, then, maybe its just my device that is incompatible. It is running Android 8.0.0 with no upgrade in sight and I guess that’s okay with me too. I wasn’t especially digging some aspects of the LG interface so I downloaded Nova Launcher which, of course, is a great launcher. If one is interested in trying this phone YY Wireless included a prepaid shipping label for no hassle returns within 30 days. This was a fine recommendation; a grest phone at a great price.

  19. Paolo Ariedo on April 30, 2020 at 7:08 pm

As a G7 owner, Why does it make me feel sad that an actual flagship a year ago – something that in some key features have *beaten* the iPhone X and Galaxy S9 – is now not much cheaper than a no-name China phone (BLU) that’s being sold as another brand in another country?

I feel like I’m losing money faster than throwing money down the drain…

  20. Luis Romero on April 30, 2020 at 7:08 pm

Can you put the link for the LG G7 deal on eBay please? Thanks!

  21. Serby Waffles on April 30, 2020 at 7:09 pm

win for the g7 power. Heard it was getting Q update

  22. Adiffkindofswag on April 30, 2020 at 7:09 pm

Verizon will be shutting down their CDMA network on Dec 30, 2020. All bands will be repurposed towards LTE and 5G.

  23. Seto Kaiba on April 30, 2020 at 7:11 pm

Anyone here play PoGo/Ingress and wanna recommend an upgrade for my LG v20?

  24. keenoguy on April 30, 2020 at 7:13 pm

Kevin, followed the eBay link and purchased the Verizon GSM unlocked LG G7 thinq. How do I get it to work on TMobile? Do I have to activate it on Verizon 1st?

  25. AR Music on April 30, 2020 at 7:13 pm

Kevin what would be your second pick?

  26. autobond007 on April 30, 2020 at 7:15 pm

@Kevin Breeze Just to let u know the link you have to the Ebay seller yywirless for the LG G7 is a serious fraudulent seller! He’s selling used LG v30+’s that are originally from sprint and flashing them with factory unlocked firmware! Passing them off as factory unlocked or carrier unlocked other than sprint!! More than likely they are doing this with other makes and models! Over time that flashed firmware can have major problems as I’m sure u already know!? I’d be careful about the link’s your posting! There’s a lot of fraud out there and yywirless is very fraudulent!! The bad and sad part is who know’s how long they’ve been doing this for getting over on unknowing customers!! By the amount of feedback thay have they have been doing this BS for a long time! If you like me to send you the evidence, just let me know! Thanxz

  27. Christiancowboy on April 30, 2020 at 7:16 pm

You have me very confused now!!! You said in your other video comparing the A5 & Power, that they would not work with Verizon. Now in this video you say the UMIDIGI Power works good with Verizon…which is it??????????

  28. Adiffkindofswag on April 30, 2020 at 7:17 pm

Consider Netflix’s 4K stream is only 15.5mbps. 1080P is just around 5.5mbps. So folks worried about download speeds shouldn’t worry so long as they’re above at 15-20mbps mark.

  29. Brian Walters on April 30, 2020 at 7:18 pm

G7 Power is a solid sub -300 phone. Strong AF battery life, fast enough not to to be annoying. Pretty good overall specs. Not the best camera but…it’s a Moto G7 power. If you want more all around competence, then get the regular G7. You’re getting the power because you want a monster battery, a phone that takes damn near most carriers and a stock android off rip.

Do NOT touch any of the Stylos. God, they are garbage….

LG G7 is solid. LG just depreciates super quickly, which is tragic. I’m pretty sure with this model, they got rid of the damn dreaded bootloop. Great camera , pretty good battery, and just strong competency in what you need it for and a few cool features. Idk why he did this phone twice for two different carriers…

The Moto G play is…ok. Mostly a good value if you need a phone but don’t have much to blow.

The Umidigi is a massive value for money. Software can get weird but if it works, you basically got a lot of phone for less.

  30. Chris Butt on April 30, 2020 at 7:19 pm

Another consideration I always look into is the SAR rating. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BwyDCHf5iCY You got any specs on SARs?

  31. Victor Kuo on April 30, 2020 at 7:20 pm

Where does the Samsung A20 fit into this list? Thanks to all in advance

  32. bryan platt on April 30, 2020 at 7:21 pm

If your looking for a cheap buget flagship the of Lg v30 also a great phone you can find these for under a 100 bucks and slightly damaged for around 50 bucks I’ve bought 3 of them this yr. Great cameras quad dac wireless charging snapdragon 835 and pretty decent quality screen. And also updated to Android 9 pie.

  33. Kevin Breeze on April 30, 2020 at 7:22 pm

Hi everyone. The Umidigi Power no longer has full Verizon support. Just wanted to clarify, so don’t buy it if you have Verizon. All of the other phones 100% work with Verizon. Thanks 🙂

  34. Michael Nikiforoff on April 30, 2020 at 7:23 pm

Do these phones work with verizon?

  35. THOR Gaming on April 30, 2020 at 7:25 pm

  40. Mike Brinker on April 30, 2020 at 7:28 pm

Thanks for doing great high quality reviews of budget phones. Most phone reviewers don’t take them seriously and are missing out on some great phones.

  41. Parker Williams on April 30, 2020 at 7:29 pm

Great video. Thanks a lot. Switching from Apple. I’m sick of having restrictions on file downloads and transfers!

  42. Willy Ck on April 30, 2020 at 7:32 pm

I heard from verison store wile switching from s5 to s7 I won’t be able to reactivate the s5 again sad news for buying reconditioned phones predating s7😥
I’M still keeping s5 for backing up photos and videos.

    Not One Samsung🤦

  44. John Kurtz on April 30, 2020 at 7:34 pm

After much research/debate I decided on the LG 7 thinQ verizon unlocked as a temp upgrade to my old note 3, yes a note 3. I just couldn’t give that thing up but apps no longer support the last Android os update, kitkat i think! I found the lg 7 for $165! In ‘like new’ shape. Hope I get those download speeds like u did. I’m holding out for a flagship that has it all! I stillbthink cameras, batteries, speed, thiness, etc. Will have serious new breakthrough innovations soon. U R a great reviewer! Quite the natural.

  45. Peter Cervantes on April 30, 2020 at 7:34 pm

The Samsung a20 or a50 belong in there to,and they mybe better than these ,
