@izlude2 Yes, you certainly can use the Mitsubishi LaserVue TV as a computer monitor. Using the HDMI inputs the L75-A91 TV will accept a 1920x1080p 60Hz resolution signal. Game On!

Can anyone recommend some picture settings? I’ve had my L75-A91 for a little over two months now, and I’ve been using the same picture settings that I used on my WD-65831.

    Picture Mode: Natural
    Contrast: 42
    Color: 27
    Brightness: 34
    Video Noise: Low
    Deep Field Imager: Off
    Edge Enhance: On
    Sharpness: 45
    Color Temp: High
    Tint: 27
    Magenta: 33
    Red: 35
    Yellow: 38
    Green: 56
    Cyan: 38
    Blue: 44

There is no "Perfect Tint" but there are Gamma settings for each laser?

Maybe we still had these type of TVs if they weren’t only marketed to shallow muricans who only care about the depth of the TV.

@TheTurbinator Laser dlp .. Never replace laser 2years and zero problems .

I currently use an older Samsung 2004 DLP as a computer monitor (720p max) but it certainly put my 22inch 1080p screen to shame. It simply looks better.

I’d like to use this Mitsubishi one one as my new monitor. I do game, a LOT (flight sims, shoot’em ups etc you name it) Now I’d like to know, will this TV support 1080p desktop? I could certainly use the space when it comes to photoshop and flash. The 2004 model I have now only supports 1080i, which is real ugly.

If it can, is it 120hz?

@BlackWiiOwner2010 The Mitsubishi LaserVue televisions are not designed for hanging on the wall. They weigh approximately 155 pounds and are about 18 inches deep. They are definitely not the best candidate for wall mounting because of that.

Well it has been many years now and the light engine is wearing out. TV still works but red – green color shifts occur and brightness not as good. Cleaned the optical components and some brightness improvement but color instability remains. Any thoughts on new engine or such for repair?

Damn shame they are discontinuing these models.

  15. Belmir on December 3, 2021 at 4:59 pm

What is this? LCD, LED, Plasma?

  16. Marc Favell on December 3, 2021 at 5:09 pm

DLP always had better color so more pop and no screen door effect as well as better response time so better for video games and I just got a free 65inch dlp tv and must say since most sources are only 1080p still in 2018 it has a awesome picture all I had to do is replace the lamp for $100.00 …. still stands it’s ground in PQ to most of today’s LCD/LED tvs unless you spend $2000.00 on a OLED tv to get a better PQ

Mitsubishi laservue still the best I love mine had it for about 4 years

@danephillips It’s tough to say, since i have not seen a 4K TV yet. If you are sitting very close to the TV, the 4K would probably look a bit better. If you are sitting 12+ feet from the TV, the LaserVue would probably look the best.

  19. Jordan Pinch on December 3, 2021 at 5:13 pm

yea i got the 65 in look at my uploads if you dont belive me but any who im getting the 75 in feb and really excited about the internet tv sounds awesome also just to add is the 75 still have a steal case to it or is it plastic because the steal saved me twice so far and i will never buy a plastic piece of shit agin

  20. Caleb Hemmington on December 3, 2021 at 5:13 pm

They are Rear-Projection Televisions, arent they?

  21. OneCall on December 3, 2021 at 5:13 pm

@danephillips The new 4K TV sets will have 4 times the number of pixels, so it should be a sharper picture, especially if they ever come out with a 4K source. The laserVue will still have more accurate color, however.

@reefturkey The L75A94 is the newer version of the LaserVue TV made by Mitsubishi. Some of the upgrades include built in WiFi, built in emitter (for 3-D), 2D + Depth (to convert 2-D TV to 3-D), Clear contrast screen (better black levels), 14 lbs lighter and is energy star 5.3 compliant. The video processing and light engine are unchanged from the older L75A91. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

@trenchass I am not a certified tech, therefore I don’t have the balls to mess with the gamma settings.
