I have seen a similar type of "storage house" for less than 15,000 dollars in Mid West, I guess 38,000 + dollars is a little to much in fact that is the half of my mortgage I am talking about a real house and a lot big enough for kids to play, run, ride bicycle and do their kids things.
The problem is the towns won’t let you legally live in this. Never get certificate of occupancy. The only way I presume would be putting this in someone’s backyard and renting from them. There is no way you can buy your own land and just put this down unfortunately

way to expensive. wait till the lumber prices goes down then build. i am seeing this in 2021 year lumber prices are way higher than in 2017. build your own and save lots.

That would a simple build, probably could build it yourself for half of that price. I looked at sheds that’s built 12×16 for $7,500 not finished on the inside. I decided to build my own hobby/office shed 10×12 with adding on a 4’ porch, nice front door with window and four windows. I’m almost done and so far I only have just under $2,000 my goal is to complete the shed on my budget of $3,500. So I really think you could build it for a lot less and build it custom for yourself. Nice tiny home though. Thanks for the video.

That’s a bullshit price. I can buy acres and acres of harvestable forest land in Northern Michigan for less than that. However, it is cool. I could put up some people in a place like that and keep them warm and fed. Thank you for the ideas.

The beauty of cedar…. no bugs.. that is why ( hope) chests were made from cedar back in the day….. stores linens and woolens. etc. no mold no bugs and fresh smelling after years of storage…

ya know, around 40 years ago I built a 2 story 1 bedroom and living area with a bathroom at my Dad & Mom’s house back then we called it a club house L.M.A.O. and we used whatever we could find… as a matter of fact city inspection guy came out because some nosey neighbors called in on us we were having fun and they weren’t. anyway he said that we had done a great job and told my dad more kids should take on a project like that. so it has nothing to do with living in a tiny house but yeah I could do all over again at 60 and love it…just not with a price tag of 30 grand
